We had a reservation, and were still made to wait more than 30 minutes past our reservation time. They finally offered us a complimentary plate of oysters, but only after I went up to the host and asked him if there was something the restaurant could do to make our unacceptable delay a little easier to stomach. That being said, the food was great and the atmosphere lively. Reservations were recommended, but I wouldn't put much stock in them seating you when you reserve your table. I would eat here again.

We went here for dinner after a day of whale watching. It's on a back road on the water in an "aristists' colony." We arrived on a Friday PM with no reservation and the hostess very skillfully found us a table. The food and service were wonderful. I had the lobster cakes (to die) for and my husband and daughter had the seafood risotto - also wonderful. I had the Gloucester Cosmo which was delicious. All in all, it's a great restaurant but hard to find (use a GPS). Will be back when we return to Gloucester. We sat in the back on the water so there was also a great view. Try to get there early to walk around the art galleries- lots of talent in Gloucester!

Very busy place and very loud, lots of fairy lights everywhere made it very pretty. Squashed seating, food no more than average and fairly pricey for what it was. Great location right on the water. Staff promised to relocate us to an empty table outside on the deck but this did not materialise. Maybe the last person's comment holds true! We had a good evening despite this.
