“Always great food and service.”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

The drinks and appetizers are awesome. Definitely do the Tapas Tower which gives you a variety of appetizers to please everyone's taste. The menu, in general, has so many great choices even for fussy eaters. This is one of our favorite restaurants on Cape Ann as we have never been disappointed.

Tip: Definitely make a reservation on the weekends.

“Good Service, Average Food”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

We love Portuguese food, which we usually eat in New Bedford. So, we were excited to find a place in Gloucester on a recent trip to Cape Anne. And with glowing TA reviews we were looking forward to a treat. First, our server Claudia was wonderful. Warm and friendly and made us feel welcome and special. We tried 2 tapas dishes, a good plate of meatballs and a very good small plate of octopus with caramelized onions. The downer was our main dishes. My wife had a seafood stew (on of their specialties). The broth was tasty but every piece of fish and shellfish was overcooked. I tried one of the cataplanas and was very disappointed. Again, the broth was well flavored but all of the seafood was overcooked and the rice was mushy. We opted to forgo desert.

“Hooray for portuguese cuisine!”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Great find. Nice terrace to eat outdoors on a summer night. Authentic, tasty, well seasoned portuguese cuisine from the tapas, to the paellas. Large portions at affordable prices. Great service. Can't wait to eat here again on our next visit.

“Authentic Portuguese food”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

I have been to this restaurant many times over the last three years, usually having either one of their Portuguese seafood dishes or great burgers. For the first time this week I had their grilled octopus in a spicy sauce with asparagus and a roasted potato.

“A Little Bit Different”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Azorean food falls between Mexican and Italian but is milder than either. They have standard menu items that you will recognize and some will have a distinct flair, My husband got a locally caught fish sandwich. I had a wrap that contained one of the two types of featured Azorean sausage. My wrap didn't have enough of sausage in it, but it was good. Dinner entrees are a little expensive but worth it.
