We went out for an early dinner the restaurant was 1/3 full through the evening. It is lovely place for dinner, and the hostess was sweet, but things quickly went downhill after. Service was so slow that some of us finished our meals before the others arrived. The waiter seemed nice but clearly has little experience with working in a restaurant (ie, getting children's meals ready first, bringing a glass for a the bottled beer, and even after a long wait for food the waiter didn't think to comp our party with drinks or dessert or something). The flavors were delightful, and the best value are the sandwich platters. They offer unusual combos of sushi that are delish but the portions are too small for the price (and I'm from NYC!) and the sushi wait is too long too. The excuse was there's only ONE person working the sushi bar, I've worked in restaurants that served sushi and that's a poor excuse. So the average rating is for the atmosphere and food flavors, but save yourself the frustration and avoid ordering from the sushi bar.
