This was our 2nd visit to Lobstaland and it was just like we remembered. We love the extensive menu, the server was great, and our food was delicious. We ordered the seafood risotto and the paella and loved both dishes. The lobster bisque was creamy and delicious. The restaurant's decor is just average, but we were impressed with the variety of menu items, not just lobster rolls and fried fish dishes. There is a view of the marsh. We will return again when in Gloucester.

So we went here after a day at Good Harbor beach based on some recommendations. This is a place we wouldn't go back to, unless we happened to be in the area. Too long a ride for just ok food. Me and hubby started out with the clam chowder. The broth was very tasty, although I prefer a thicker consistency. But the flavor saved it. I had the appetizer sampler, which consisted of coconut shrimp, crabcake (delish) and fried calamari rings. It was ok, nothing remarkable. My husband had the fried haddock sandwich. The fish was perfectly cooked, great portion and so fresh. We were too full for dessert.

Thinking that with a name like Lobsta Land the Lobster would be awesome. Not so. Just average and higher priced than most of the other places we went to for Lobster.

My wife and I went a year ago and this week. Disappointed both times. The place was packed so someone thinks it's good, but my lobster roll was tasteless and my two beers were flat. My wife's risotto was pretty good but nothing to write home about.

W/plenty of parking, Lobsta Land is seasonal, moderately priced, known for their fresh seafood, & overlooks the marsh. Place gets packed & service is usually slow. We've been here for some good breakfasts, lunch, & dinner. We recommend For 10.95 /18.95 the Coconut Battered Shrimp Large shrimp fried in a crispy panko coconut batter, served over Thai cucumber salad with a delicious honey-ginger dipping sauce. Perfectly delicious! Also recommended Scallops Satay which are grilled day-boat sea scallop satays served over Thai cucumber and rice wine salad with a spicy peanut-chili vinaigrette,12.95. We often crave the Seafood Risotto Lobster, shrimp and scallops tossed in creamy risotto tossed with garlic, shallots, shaved parmesan and baby spinach, topped with grilled lobster tail and lobster cream sauce, 24.95. There's tons of seafood & sausage in their Paella... Love their sauces & dressings. What disappointed us was a Lobster Bisque Special, which was pricey & contained no lobster chunks!! Full bar.
