We visited this place on a Tuesday night, and the first thing that my boyfriend and I noticed was that the restaurant is nicely split up in two, so there is a bar area for enjoying margaritas and hanging with friends and a restaurant area for those looking to dine in quieter surroundings. The complimentary chips and salsa promise good things to come, but our dining experience soon took a turn for the worse. The margaritas are very good, and strong, but the calamari appetizer we ordered was bland, and barely fried with white looking dough and seafood that was chewy. The lobster taco my boyfriend ordered was literally just lobster mixed with mayonnaise, served in a soft taco shell. Not very Mexican or authentic in our books. My beef enchiladas were bland, although the meat was tender, and lacked cilantro, chilli and lime flavors. Would recommend this place based only on the margaritas, salsa and chips, and our awesome waiter, who was very kind, friendly and livened the otherwise quite dull dining experience up as much as possible.
