Lovely beach with shade from overhanging trees and rocks. Very busy at weekends but get there early during the week and you may be lucky enough to have it all to yourself before 11am- then the children from summer camp arrive!

Part of Stage Fort Park, such a pretty small and shallow beach so great for kids (also lifeguard on duty) with the added interest of rocks on either side and in the middle. The water is very gentle and there is some shade in the pm. There is seaweed but we thought the beach was quite clean. Paid car parking behind the beach and a shower. Just beautiful!

This is a little gem of a beach with nice sand, no waves on Gloucester harbor in Stage Fort park. clear clean water and shade available in the afternoon.

The beach sits in Stage Fort Park. It is small, sandy and great for small children. On either side are gian rocks great for climbing. Behind the Beach is a giant tablet rock that reites the story of Gloucester (at least until 1907 when the tablet was dedicated).

A lovely big tree overhangs some of this beach, which is great for blazingly hot days. There's a lifeguard, and the beach is small enough that you can keep track of the kids without stress. At the top of the handicap-accessible entranceway, there's a shower for rinsing off salt and sand, a nice bonus! It's part of a great park, Stage Fort, which has a terrific playground and picnic areas. There's plenty of parking (small fee) and restrooms nearby.
