This is a wonderful beach for families as there are life guards, bathrooms and a snack bar. It is a pretty beach with an adjoining creek and bridge. Off season there are a lot of dogs off leash, but once June arrives dogs are not allowed which makes this beach more kid and people friendly. At low tide you can actually walk out to Salt Island, however be careful not to stay too long before the tide turns as well as watch out for poison ivy. Also there is a sub shop and Dairy Queen not too far from the beach if you are looking for something to eat.
