Gloucester stage company offer wonderful and professional performances at a cost that is affordable. The staff is friendly and the productions breath taking. It is very close to niles beach and the rocky neck art colony. I would highly recommend a dinner out on rocky neck and then a show. Visitor's should be sure to check out the view of the inner harbor from behind the theater. The building it's self used to be a fish packing plant but since then has been turned in to a delightful black box theater. Locals should check the website to look for the pay what you can nights. One challenge is parking. Handicap parking is made available near the theater but parking can other wise me spares. The shows are well rounded and range from light hearted to dark and like all good theater company ask the audience to refelct on the going ons in the world. Gloucester stage is an important part of what makes Gloucester an arts community. I know that I would highly recommend Gloucester Stage Company to all vistors and locals alike.
