Reviewed November 28, 2011

Was a nice walk after having some lunch. Explained to the kids how cranberries are harvested.

This has become one of our hidden treasures. It is never crowded and always well kept. This is a very nice place for a peaceful bit of respite. Good place to walk a dog because of the loose leash law. Couple this witha trip through teh kids areas of Bass Pro Shops and you ahve a nice 2-3 hour side trip for teh pets and the kids.
If you want to show your children what a cranberry bog looks like they get it here.

All free!

Last Fall, my family decided to take a walk on the trail we'd observe from the windows of Bass Pro Shop. Pretty walk, nice wooden walkway across the bog and a pretty walking path. The second half of the path could be difficult for anyone with difficulties walking. You can just go out and back on the wooden decking.

We live within a few miles of Patriots Place in Foxboro, MA and have visited it numerous times. I've often seen the sign for the Nature Trail and Cranberry Bog, but never felt the urge to explore it. After months of snowy weekends and countless hours of shoveling snow, my family decided we needed another outing into nature.

What a stunning walk! We spent the better part of two hours at the bog taking photos of the bog, the beautiful trees and the birds wading in the water. They've built a wooden walkway around the bog which makes the experience even more relaxing and easy. We'd recommend this as entertainment for families with young children, for a couple who wants to be lost outdoors together or with teens who have an interest in the outdoors or nature photography. You will not be disappointed.
