I want to thank Brian and Linda for making our very first stay at a B&B an excellent experience. They were very accommodating. It was like visiting with old friends.
The food was good, the room was great! My family and I can't wait to stay during the warmer months. Tucker is a very sweet dog too! Thank you again for your hospitality and making our choice of places to stay easier. Keep up the good work!!! Hope to visit again very soon.

Room Tip: The east room has the two person jacuzzi tub. Lots of fun for kids.

Staid two nights. Very comfortable and quiet room. Brian and Linda made us feel very much at home. Delicious breakfasts. Couldn't have made a better choice. Our small sheltie also gives Howarth House 5 stars. We will be back.

Loved this hidden gem! I only had the pleasure of staying one night, but I will definitely return when I'm in the area. Quiet and peaceful room with a very comfortable bed and a lovely updated bathroom (especially liked the heated floors!). Breakfast was delicious, as were the snacks left out in the evening. I was not there long enough to enjoy the rest of the common areas, but received a quick tour from Brian when I arrived and everything is well-appointed. They were a pleasure to deal with when booking and were very accomodating with a late check in - all for a really good price. 5 stars all around!

We spent an extremely comfortable night at Howarth House. Our room with gas fireplace was nicely appointed and pristine. We also appreciated the radiant heated bathroom floor on a cold autumn morning! Brian and Linda were gracious and welcoming, as was Tucker, their golden retriever/German shepherd mix. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. We highly recommend staying here.

Not only was this the nicest B & B I really had ever stayed in, but it is the nicest place in Fitchburg for sure. Everything was warm, clean, beautiful. The bed was great, the room comfy, the bathroom floor warm. I come back a couple of times a year and dread finding a place to stay in the area, no longer, now I want to come back just to stay there. Gracious hosts, lovely home, great location. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I am sorry it was just one night.

Spent one week at Howarth House and could not have been more pleased. The B&B is lovely and the Innkeepers Brian and Linda very welcoming, and helpful. They take a great deal of pride in their home, as well they should. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunrise from the East Room followed by a great breakfast. It was a lovely experience and we would definitely recommend it. As we have family in Clinton, Ma., we plan to visit again soon.

Brian and Linda provide the best in atmosphere and service. Both made us feel right at home, greeting us, the moment we drove in.
The bed and room provided a great sleep.
Having a custom selected breakfast out on the patio, next to a small wooded area, couldn't have been better.
It was quite an experience to view all of Brian's items in the "fireroom" (Brian is a firefighter), and allowing us to take pictures of the room and entire location.
We would go back in a heartbeat for another, undoubtedly, wonderful experience.
