“Nice stay”

We stay two nights at the red horse inn

The room was large, clean and silent. The breakfast was good as well.
The Inn is well located: You can go to the beach by walk ( about 5 minute) and you need less than 5 minutes to arrive to the Falmouth centre by car.

A supermarket is close to the inn as well ( less than 1 minute by car)

Our stay at the Red Horse Inn in Beautiful Falmouth Massachusetts was just fantastic. The location, just off the Harbor, was within walking distance of downtown, and the restaurants on the Harbor, and the Clam Shack. The hotel room was very clean, neat, and large. The Hotel grounds were always clean. The "barn" where the continental breakfast was served each morning was very comfortable, and the breakfast was just right. The staff, especially Cindy, was always courteous and friendly, and never seemed to be in too much of a hurry not to talk to the guests. Cindy was very knowledgable about the surrounding area and was very helpful to our group.
I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends for a stay while in Falmouth, and I will go back soon. Falmouth is very beautiful in the Fall, and the harbor is always a great place to walk around.
Jack

We stayed here Aug. 22 - 24th. The location is convenient to everything but in a quiet residential neighborhood so it was very relaxing. They have a nice continental breakfast and common area with tables, umbrellas and pretty flowers all around. You can tell the owner has a lot of pride in the property. The rooms are very clean, furnishings are new and comfortable. Bathrooms are small but again, very clean. The staff have some great ideas for the best local eateriers. We tried The Flying Bridge on their recommendation, it has the BEST steamed clams I have ever had!!!

The Inn is close to Falmouth Village with all the shops and restaurants. There is lots to do locally. There are 2 public beaches just about 1 mile from the Inn, Woods hole is just a short, pleasant drive from Falmouth Village. The harbor has the ferries to Martha's Vineyard. It's a nice clean harbor too.

I would recommend getting to the restaurants in the area before 6pm if you have kids. They fill up very quickly after that and you can expect a long wait at some of the nicer places. One night we went to Anejo Mexican Bistro. This place is great and the server makes fresh quacamole at your table to your specifications! We also tried Pop Kitchen for breakfast and that place is great. There are pix of old Falmouth on their walls and cool pop culture decor. The breakfast burritos were tasty, coffee was good and service was friendly.

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend, as my husband and I were trying to get away to a relaxing location. A friend of my mine stayed here previously, and recommended the place to us.

We had such an amazing time. My husband made reservations and everything seemed great. We arrived at night after the office was closed, so they left our keys in a specific location. We were a bit hesitant because our room was on the first floor, but it was such a quaint place.

The owner was friendly and provided a free continental breakfast in the barn area.
It was very nice to have breakfast on site instead of running around to try to find a place.
We were a quick walk to the ferry to take us into Martha's Vineyard.

It was such a peaceful trip. We would definitely consider going again!

This is a little gem of an inn. The location is very convenient to ferry to Martha's Vineyard, downtown shops and restaurants, and local beaches. The bed was very comfortable. Room was clean, quiet, well supplied. I only wish we had more time to spend here. I recommend it without reservation. The staff was super helpful and friendly as well.

After agonizing over where to stay in a place we had never been to, we chose the Red Horse Inn just 2 weeks before arriving. The reservation process was terrific--I called instead of doing the online reservation to make sure we could get a first floor room. No problem. The room was so New England and seashore--all white wicker furniture, a comfortable bed, clean, and a fridge in the room. The bathroom was tiny but fitting for the age of the motel (and there was no mold!!). That was the only thing that showed the place's age, as everything else looked very updated. We loved having breakfast in the garden and chatting with the other visitors, although it was the same choices of continental breakfast everyday. The location was fabulous and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Parking in Falmouth is also pretty easy. Cindy was so helpful in telling us what to see, places to eat, and how to maximize our time on the Cape. The pictures online of RHI look just like the place we stayed. We hope to be able to return, as 3 days there was not enough!

We were looking for a place to stay in Falmouth for three nights of R&R. We like Falmouth because it doesn't tend to get as crowded with young children (no offense, but we've been there and done that) as other parts of Cape Cod. We decided to get the three night package at the Red Horse Inn which included 2 round trip tickets to Martha's Vineyard, a $100 gift card that could be used at two different restaurants, and two individual day passes to the beach. When we first saw the location of the Red Horse Inn we were a little disappointed because it was fairly close to, though not on, the main road. But once we got to know the area a little better, we found the location to be very, very convenient, especially if you had bikes and didn't want to drive once you got there. The boat to Martha's Vineyard is within walking distance, about 300 or 400 yards, and you can easily bike into the center of Falmouth (maybe a mile or less). The bike trail to Woods Hole is fairly close. The hotel is very clean. Cindy, the manager, is welcoming, helpful and pleasant. Each morning we had a continental breakfast in "the barn" which is in the center of a courtyard. The food was basic, but good, and what you would normally expect at a continental breakfast. We will stay at the Red Horse Inn again. Location, cleanliness and good value are key factors.

Room Tip: There is no swimming pool or restaurant, though there are several restaurants close by, as well as a...
