We were very disappointed upon arriving . When we checked in the girl at the counter was on the phone and was talking to the person on the phone and to me at the same time . When we got to our room we had trouble getting the door open because it was swollen my husband had to practically hip check it . The closet had no doors and 2 wire hangers. One window would not shut tightly. The bathroom was not the cleanest and there was no toilet paper, That door also was very hardto open and shut. We had a fridge which we could barely get open because it was between the wall and a bed and it had a very bad odor. There was a coffe pot but no coffee. We were traveling with our 4yr old and were told that they had a swing set , when we saw it we could not believe what we saw it had no swings and the slide did not look to safe. The pool looks really nice in the pictures well there is no patio furniture around the pool and the liner looks as if it is falling into the pool. We never saw a continental breakfast.Overall the rooms are very outdated and not very clean I would not recommend this motel to anyone. When we checked out the man at the desk just took my key and said nothing no thank you or how was your stay nothing at all..

The hotel is located in a reasonable area with a short drive to nice beaches. The building feels old as in it makes a lot of noise when you walk. The room we stayed in was quite spacious for the price.

However, we had horrible experience with the customer service. There were 10 people in our group and 5 of us were staying at that motel. It was agreed upon (and we paid extra) for 5 people to stay in the 2 beds room. The other 5 people already have a reservation at a nearby place (which was cheaper and closer to the beach but we didn't get two rooms there since we booked late). When we dropped off half the group at the motel, the rest of us went up to use the bathroom (come on, after the long drive, we had to use it). It was in the middle of the day and we weren't even loud. The manger/owner/whoever it was came knocked on our door within 5 minutes and said "there are more than 5 people in this room. The rest of you NEED TO GET OUT RIGHT NOW OR YOU ARE ALL CHECKING OUT WITH NO REFUND" We explained to him that we were just using the bathrooom, are all leaving for the beach in no time and assured him that there would not be more people staying the room than what we've agreed upon. Even then, he proceeded to ask for my credit card so he can "charge it if there are more than 5 ppl staying". I don't know what his problem was but I truly believe there were many nicer ways to discuss the issues than yelling at us or threatening us to kick out of the motel. Especially when we haven't done anything wrong.

In summary, I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK THERE UNDER THE CURRENT OWNERSHIP and I would not recommend my family and friends to stay there. If you give yourself enough time to plan, you can get better motels with similar pricing (some closer to the beach and other attractions) than this one.

We booked last minute by calling the motel directly and the stay was great ....new young owners had just bought the motel and were making big changes to improve the motel....lots of outdoor for space on the property to walk around in the evening....looking forward to comming again this year...my husband had a great time with golf courses located within 2-3 miles from the motel....Cape Cod winery was just steps away....must visit....great Cape Cod secret...location was perfect of the motel in very quiet area, with beaches and downtown Falmouth just skip away from the motel. Barnstable County fairgrounds was just a few miles away.....must visit the County fair...car show ect....May return with a group of our friends and stay a little longer in this summer.
