Sheets felt like sandpaper -- we had to sleep on the blanket. Washcloths paper thin. Room so tiny and no shelf in bathroom to place toiletries. Front desk staff pleasant, except tor Irene (who we think was the manager). Need to upgrade rooms, because grounds are pleasant to be in.

This is a typical seaside hotel. The walls are thin and you could hear everything in the neighboring rooms. I needed my earplugs to sleep.

The rooms were furnished nicely but the air conditioning unit was old and noisy and the front was falling off.

The bathroom floor was dusty and could have used a good dust mopping.

The hotel would be great for a summer vacation stay but is not a business hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the ShoreWay Acres with our 14-month old and had a wonderful visit. This was the first vacation we've taken with the baby where we didn't stay with family and, needless to say, we were a little nervous about how it would work out. The location was perfect since it was conveniently located within walking distance to just about everything we could have possibly needed (restaurants, shops, convenience store, beach). The room was a great size for the three of us and it made things so much easier that they had a portable crib for rent at a reasonable price. (While we have a pack-n-play at home it takes up a lot of room in the car!) One night, we enjoyed a lovely dinner outside at one of the picnic tables while the baby played in the grass. Having the indoor pool also turned out to be such a plus for us (not too much sun, comfortable water temperature)! We would definitely recommend the Inn to others and would certainly stay there again. It's truly perfect for a family getaway!

Having read earlier negative reports about this hotel I spoke to the tour operators Titan Travel before booking the holiday and was assured that the travel consultant had personally stayed at this hotel and all was now fine.
Firstly this is not a hotel but a motel with no bar or restuarant providing meals apart from breakfast except in summer.Staff very friendly and helpful.
Our room which was large, reminded me of some of the earlier reports I had read on Trip advisor. The mattresses were past their sell by date, the pillows smelt musty as did the room and the carpet badly stained.A refrigerator had a very noisy motor which kept you awake if it was not un plugged before going to bed.No communal lounge for socialising with other guests.

Friends selected this motel/inn for a one night stay after spending time on Martha's Vineyard. The website looked promising but I was a little concerned about not being able to view photos of the rooms. Upon arrival we were told that our rooms had been upgraded. The upgraded rooms, however, were dated, tired, and worn. The towels were stained and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the room door was very thin and did not buffer sounds from the hallway. To top it all off, I realized that we, in fact, were charged more for the "upgraded" room! Check your receipt carefully if you stay here.
To be fair, the location is great. Town shopping and restaurants are a very short walk from the motel/inn, and a lovely beach is also within walking distance.

We have vacationed here for the past fifteen summers and absolutely love everything about the place. Our kids have grown up here. We already have our reservations for next summer. We have have gone other places around the country and the Cape and it just isn't the same. Shoreway Acres has a great location- an easy walk to town and the beach. The grounds are beautifully maintained and relaxing. There is an outdoor pool and an indoor pool if you don't like the beach. The indoor pool is fantastic if you have rainy weather and can be a lifesaver for families. There are plenty of places to sun or relax on the grounds. Many of the staff members have been there for years and take care of the place with great care. All are very friendly and helpful. The summer breakfast buffet is terrific and has something for everyone. The buffet makes life so much easier, especially if you have kids. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfortable, and the owners are constantly striving to update and improve the facility. There are a wide variety of rooms available to fit one's needs. This place is Cape Cod at its BEST!! The place and the staff are wonderful!!!

We stayed here last week and were very pleased with the hotel and amenities. Our room had a large fridge, a microwave and a small coffee machine which was very helpful. Our room was clean although the decoration looked quite out of date. The room was throughly cleaned through each day. Our 2 boys loved the indoor pool although we found it rather cold for our liking! However it did have plenty of seats and loungers at the side which was handy when it was raining outside and we wanted to stay in. The hotel was offering guests complimentary cooked breakfasts and we felt they were excellent and the staff very friendly and courteous. The staff at reception were very helpful also. I would recommend this hotel as it is walking distance to the beach (Surf Drive) and to Falmouth Village. It is also well positioned if you want to visit Martha's Vineyard by ferry. The only problem we encountered was it was supposed to have free Wifi access in the grounds but this hardly ever worked while we were there despite our mentioning this to the staff on several occasions. Overall though a pleasant stay and would recommend.
