We love diners, and were looking for a good solid breakfast spot for our family on the last day before heading home. There was a long line but we were greeted cheerfully and told 10-15 minutes. We were seated in a booth after 10 minutes. The wait staff was obviously really busy but good natured and accommodating to our many requests for napkins, utensils, etc. (with kids, they always fall on the floor "by accident"). The menu was not particularly innovative and not a lot of options that are "healthy" for breakfast. No turkey or vegetarian sausage, hash, etc. and omelette options were limited- charge $.50 for each vegetable added to a cheese omelette. The hash was good, and my daughter liked her blueberry waffle- generous size. The hash browns were good. Wouldn't rush back, but would be happy to be there again.
I also saw a very negative review before about a group of older travelers who had a bad encounter with a waitress. It says right on the menu that they don't do separate checks for parties. They should have handled it better with management stepping in when the waitress lost it. However, the reviews were particularly harsh.
