we decided to try this place for the first time on Mother's Day at 11 a.m. as expected it was a little busy but we did get seated after 20 minutes or so.
despite the place being completely full the service was actually excellent. We were offered coffee refills at least 4 times..and here was the thing that completely won me over: i ordered salmon Benedict off the specials board which did not have a description and when it arrived it was smoked salmon to my surprise. I was a little sad when it arrived because I do not care for smoked salmon. The hostess noticed this, came immediately to our table and offered me multiple other options. They definitely wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our experience...and said so... which absolutely we did!
I look forward to going again soon.
the lobster asparagus eggs benedict was excellent by the way,and the fruit is fresh cut.

Moonakis is our favorite place for breakfast in Falmouth!!! We have been there numerous times but this is our first "review." One of their many specials this day was Lobster asparagus eggs Benedict! WOW it was out of this world. It is a good thing we don't live near the Cape, I would have to come every day as long as this dish was on the menu. That is why I just felt compelled to write a review. The Portuguese French toast, made from Portuguese sweet bread was awesome as was the side of linguica. The portions are more than ample so be sure that you are hungry when you go. I had a little concern about our 4 hour drive home, but a few cups of coffee with breakfast overcame any drowsiness on the ride home. Can't say enough if you only go out to breakfast ONCE anywhere near Falmouth.... Moonakis should be the place!

Have been coming here for almost 20 years and i love, love, love the best breakfast on the Cape. Breakfast is even better if you're lucky enough to have it served Karen. She keeps the dining room running smoothly and, though there is most often a line on weekends, things moving quickly! Try the pancakes, they're thin, and cooked perfectly!

We ate Easter morning and there was no wait. There was an extensive menu but we felt the prices were a little steep for what they were. The pancakes were similar to a crepe in size. The banana pecan pancakes were really good! They don't take credit cards but it's posted on the door.

The staff were very friendly which goes a long way with us!!

Unique dishes, specials are always great. They have the absolute best corned beef hash... fresh shredded beef... AWESOME. Cash only, not much from the outside, and even when there is a line - it is so worth the wait.
