A creative menu and a terrific wine list make us the perfect spot for lunch or dinner, appetizers with friends, to listen to Irish music, or to watch the game on one of our 7 HD TVs.

“Good, but not great.”

I'd go again, and give them a chance to WOW me in a pub experience. For lunch, it was good, but not great.

“Good for a drink - don't go for the food or service”
Reviewed August 10, 2009

I was really, really hoping this was going to be a good restaurant! We went in last night, after the race, and after a 45 minute wait (totally expected on race weekend, not a biggie) we surprisingly got what we ordered thrown out to us about 5 minutes after we ordered it. Why am I complaining? Well, for one, the nachos were literally a bag of tortillas and cheese melted on them... none of the regular "fixings" you'd get when you order a plate of nachos just shy of ten bucks. When I asked the waitress if this is how they "usually did their nacho plate.." I got back an intimidating "yah -- why???". I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they ran out of stuff since it was so busy from the race... but that wasn't the case. Then, as soon as she walked away, she was literally back 3 minutes later with our entrees (fish n' chips.... just average - not bad but not great either)
The bar is fine with a pretty decent selection of drinks... the bartender was a college aged girl who wasn't friendly and didn't spark a smile once. Not what you would like for an "Irish pub". I'm not saying you have to have a brough and do a jig to work behind an Irish bar-- but a little personality goes a long way, Liam Mcguire's!

“Fun American Version of an Irish Pub”
Reviewed July 17, 2009

A little boisterous, but in a friendly way. Food was good, staff friendly. Live Irish music in the evening was fun.

Good location in the middle of main street.

We went twice during our week long vacation.

“At it's best when Liam is on stage”
Reviewed July 8, 2009

Go there for pub atmosphere and good pub grub. It is a big open space and can get a lil noisy but all eyes are on the stage when Liam gets up there for some irish jigs around 9pm. We all thought that the burgers are ABOVE average. Service has always been friendly.Plenty of TV's to catch the game too.
