Very friendly service and helpful staff for my "to go" order. Very good Margarita for my wife, good choice of beer for my son and vine by the glas that I enjoyed and a good chat with the polish born waitress. Did have time to have a meal in the restaurant but its is at a nice location and looked quite inviting to me. the food I cant judge. After this big and still ongoing renovation(that deserves the name) I am sure they will make a name for themselves on this nice beach location in summer and the pool bar open( with some live music apparently coming too certain days). Great

The clam chowder was delicious. Restaurant was cold. The service was fine. We ate here because we had checked in to our hotel late. Was good.

Ok, it's off season, but that's no excuse.First ordered homemade spinach pasta dish..out came cooked penne from a box, even canned mushrooms. The server told me they just changed it..DUH! So next I ordered a hamburger and fries..how can you ruin that? ...WRONG..SOOOO greasy, it could have slid off the plate, the roll was so laden with grease it was so heavy. ONLY shining moment was Chris the manager who couldn't apologize enough... for BOTH dinners..he is wonderful, genuinely caring and deserves more praise than I can put into words.
One can only hope it gets better before the season starts. .I will never be back!

Pamela, I apologize for your unsatisfactory experience in Red’s Restaurant & understand your disappointment. This is not typical service as it is our intent to meet & exceed guest expectation. I do hope that if you are in the area you will stop by and give us an opportunity to redeem ourselves.

We ate dinner over the easter weekend. LOVE the setting - we ate in the 'outside' room that is directly on the ocean. It's covered but cold (bring a jacket). We ordered fish n chips (best I've had in a long time) and the salmon (also very good). Hubby had clam chowder which was delicious.

While the food was good (we also enjoyed a turkey club earlier) the service was way lacking. Our waitress was never to be found. It took 1.5 hours to eat with our kids. We had to ask for everything - bread plates, water, to clear our plates, a pen for the bill (this alone took 10 minutes). We sat for 20 minutes with dirty plates after we finished eating. The staff were accommodating sticking a candle in a dessert for hubby's bday.
All in all, I don't think we'd eat here for a meal again. Takeout worked fine for sandwiches. Great service goes a long way with us. It's not just the food that makes the meal!
