“wonderful pastry”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

I am passionately picky about pastries. So, I just had to try out Maison Villatte. So far, I have only had the blueberry and cream croissant. It was not what usually passes for a croissant. It was rich, buttery and flaky. As well as sweet but not cloyingly sweet. The berries were fresh. In short: it was wonderful. My son and I stopped for a snack, after lunch.

“Mmmmmmmm!!”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

If you are in Falmouth, you MUST stop here....again and again. The croissant pastry, used on many of the pastries, is sublime. Delicate, buttery, flaky...perfect. I keep getting there too late....is 8:45 a.m. too late? I keep missing out on the almond croissants....someone has to keep coming in and buying them all. I guess I will have to camp out at 6 a.m. The breads and savory pastries are incredible too. Do. Not. Miss. It.

if you are anywhere on the cape near Falmouth and are hungry or going to be, you must visit and buy at this bakery....it is fabulous....bread, pastries, cookies. Chef is the real deal and so is his product.

“LIFE CHANGING!”
Reviewed May 20, 2014

We were told about this place and had to stop by! I'll just say this - we spent six days on the Cape and stopped here for breakfast three days outta those six! This place is fantastic, from the buttery, flaky croissants to the tarts that melt in your mouth. There isn't a bad thing in this place, BELIEVE ME! The girls behind the counter are helpful and just as sweet as the pastries. If you're near Falmouth, GO! Don't even think about it. It's wonderful and a little slice of Heaven.

To David_B_Lyon and your negative review, you need to get a reality check. It clearly states that they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays on the side outside of their window. They're entited to two days off just like everyone else so because of that, they "don't take their business seriously?" They're open 7am til 7pm Tuesday through Sunday. Get over yourself.

“Fresh French Style Bakery”
Reviewed May 12, 2014

We happened walking into the bakery and found their French style bakeries are fresh and delicious. There was a long line of people waiting patiently to get their favorite bakeries. I liked the tasteful decoration and style inside the restaurant. There was an area clean and neat and you could sit and enjoy the food and a cup of coffee. Love the little shop. Look forward to go back again.
