“Close to the beach”
Reviewed September 26, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and we enjoyed the location as it is across the street from the beach. The room's furnishings were dated and it was a little tight on space. Our kitchenette featured a small fridge, sink, 2 burners and dishes, utensils, but no microwave. The bathroom was spacious enough and very clean. We had a private deck, which we enjoyed, even though it was only a partial ocean view (that was explained when I booked). The pub next door was busy and very good. They do have music later on some evenings, but the AC drowned out the noise. We were able to walk to the Island Queen ferry that goes over to Martha's Vineyard. We would stay there again.

the hotel looks exactly like the pictures....right on the waterfront and the rooms are just like the pictures, so if you are expecting something a little more updated forget it
the comforters were old as the hills and about in the same kind of condition.
the beds were very ricketty and hard. When other guests walked about on the balcony or in their room the bed rattled. They were two double beds, not queen, so pay attention when and if you book here
kitchenette is a small fridge, sink and micorwave w a 4 cup coffee maker
shower was a little on the dirty side and the bathroom very small.
not sure was worth the price

Room Tip: perhaps the rooms with the private balconies might be better but again...sleeping conditions and old...

We stayed here for two nights but wish we had booked for longer! Really helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Great maid service. Location is PERFECT! We walked ten steps from our room and we were on the beach. The veiw from the balcony was amazing. The shower went from hot to very cold which was the only negative point about the Seaside Inn.
The main street was great. Lovely restaurants and cute shops.

We wanted to stay somewhere in Cape Cod that would be convenient to get to Martha's Vineyard, sightseeing, shopping and relaxing on the beach and Seaside Inn was perfect. The inn is family run, and they are very friendly and helpful. They have a no noise policy after ten, and are available to you even when the office closes. The room was adequate for us, we wanted to do lots of sightseeing so it was perfect. The pub next door serves fantastic pizza! The Island ferry to Marta's Vineyard is a 10 minute walk away from the Inn. We will definitely return to Seaside and beautiful Cape Cod.

Very, very clean. Exactly like what you see in the pictures on line. The location is great and the food in the British Pub next door is excellent value. Can't say enough good things about this little motel and staff. I can see why people go back year after year. I certainly will. Just book early as they fill up quickly. Looking forward to going back as soon as I possibly can.

Room Tip: Book as soon as your plans finalize.

We stayed just one night but wish we'd stayed another. We were in room 309 on the 2nd floor---small, but just right for the two of us. Cozy and cheerful with beautiful blue walls, lots of light, pretty faux-hydrangea bouquet on the nightstand; private deck w/umbrella table and chairs just outside our room. Partial view of the water. Fully equipped effeciency kitchenette. Bathroom was roomy--shower only-- but that was ok with us. Being the shoulder season it was quiet and relaxing and the room rate was very reasonable. We wouldn't hesitate to go there again!

April 16-19th was the time we stayed at the Seaside inn. After booking a place In Yarmouth through our time share program and being very disapointed, by the way NEVER stay at the HOLLY TREE RESORT. We stayed At the Seaside in at first in Room 203 which was a bit uncomfortable and bit outdated however it did the job. I had to work this week and had my laptop from work and used the Seaside Inn's free wireless access (unsecured). The table they had in the room was easy enough to bring outside and sit at while working and looking at the ocean, what more could you ask for. On April 17th we moved to room 201. My wife and i decided that for the time of year and the price they were charging for the room AND the folks that were staying there the first night had checked out we said lets do it. When the very friendly staff said the room was ready we went in and the views from the room were out of this world! there is a huge picture window and your own pvt balconey. There is adequate closet space and a full bath. This was a room that was not outdated, clearly they have suited this room to be special for the people who have the fourtunate exp to stay here. The beds in the first room we stayed in keep us up all night they were hard as a rock a MUST update for the Inn. Room 201 had 2 king beds that were UNBELIEVABLY comfortable and not your typical hotel bed. If you like softer beds with some support this is the room to stay in at the cape. Over all I would come back again and next time maybe with our daughter who is on the way and our dog lexi. Oh yea thats right they have pet friendly rooms.... Only reason i ddint give this place 5 stars is because of the bed, everything else AMAZING, service was great, rooms clean, affordable! STAY HERE!!!

Room Tip: If its available get room 201 you wont be dissapointed. If you find this review helpful email me R...
