“Fantastic value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2014

I was really impressed with this place. First, we were given an upgrade (without our asking) to one of waterfront rooms because the proprietor wanted to make sure we had a quiet stay for the night. But even without the upgrade, our experience would still have been fantastic. The room was large and extremely clean. The bathroom was clean and shower pressure was good. The bed was comfortable. For the price we paid, it was an absolute bargain, especially compared to other rates in the area (Falmouth). The setting is also well worth it. Green Harbor is located right next to a body of water, which provided a very peaceful setting. I recommend this place highly.

This is a lovely place, with a pool, view of the water and plenty of room for barbecuing.
The owner was very helpful in suggesting activities, restaurants etc. A pleasant spot for families or couples as well as single people.

Room Tip: Second floor might be a little quieter.

My boyfriend and I stayed here because it was the most budget-friendly option for us staying in the area for two nights for a wedding. We chose it based on other reviews, and though we did not have much down time to spend there, the room and motel lived up to our expectations. The beds were comfortable, room clean, the staff was extremely friendly, and the grounds were kept very nice. It was a relaxing view of the harbor/pool from our porch.
At about 9:45 am we were woken by housekeeping knocking on the door, which surprised me how early it was, though I understand it's after Memorial Day and they probably have a lot of rooms to get to. Next time, I'll remember to put out the do not disturb sign the night before. =)

Room Tip: Since the value of the hotel was great, we spent a little bit more to get a room with a porch (share...

Rooms are nice and clean. Owners are friendly and helpful. Heated pool, paddle boats, fire at night on the beach, and grills. Accommodated our soccer team for the 3rd year. Kids had a great time and families were able to bring their dogs. Highly recommend this hotel.

First time staying in this part of the Cape but liked the reviews on TA and found Green Harbor had reasonable rates. We also liked being on the water. What you get for the the price is great. The property is family-owned and is well kept and clean, sitting on the water's edge (Green Pond, which leads to the Atlantic). There's a small beach and a boat launch. Milton the proprietor is very friendly and helpful. Upon check-in he immediately upgraded our room to a kitchenette on the waterfront which was kind of him. The room was spacious, clean and fully stocked including 3/4-size fridge, microwave oven/ stove and even a sofa. Our queen bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the flat-screen satellite TV. We had an agenda so we didn't make use the watercraft or the heated pool. Next time. Some guests had a bonfire on the beach. there's a nice sandy section sunbathe. The area is very green and lots of birds grace the area. The Falmouth area is very quaint and Woods Hole to the south seems like a nice place to hang out. If you want to go on a whale watch you can catch the one in Barnstable (about 30 min drive) if you don't want the 90 min drive to P 'town. They go to the same area. I also recommend finding directions to The Knob; a nature trail that leads to mound sticking out into the sea with nice views. Another thing we did was drove south on Acapesket rd to some beaches on Menauhant rd. Plenty to do and see in this part of the Cape so we'll definitely be back to stay at Green Harbor.

My wife and I visited the Cape for the first time and decided to stay in Falmouth based on some recommendations by a friend. The hotel that was recommended to us was booked solid, so we searched trip advisor and found this gem. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and Milton went out of his way to recommend some scenic drives and restaurants to check out...all of which did not disappoint. It was great to find a locally owned motel and the hospitality was unbeatable. The grounds are very well kept and the location is picturesque. We stayed in the upper rooms and had a great view of the water. We only stayed for a couple of days, so we really did not have time to check out the pool or the small beach area by the water, but we would love to in the future. The room was very cozy and the beds were very soft and comfortable. We visited the early part of the week before Memorial Day, so the motel was not too crowded and the town was not yet overcrowded. We were out exploring the Cape for most of our stay, so did not spend much time at the motel during the day, but it was great to return to a peaceful setting after each day. All-in-all our stay was very relaxing, peaceful, and we really enjoyed the hospitality and beautiful setting. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get a chance to return to Falmouth.

Room Tip: If you are looking for a great view of the water, then choose the upper-level rooms.

We found green harbor to be a wonderful place to stay. It was a full house, but it was so quiet and peaceful, you would have never known. Room was decorated charming. It was such a peaceful place to stay. We could not get over how clean the entire property was, we were Leary because they allow dogs, you would never know there was a dog in the place, the room are the cleanest that we have ever seen, and the grounds spotless. We would highly recommend green harbor and would to stay there again.
