“A Hassle-Free Outing To Martha's Vineyard”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

The Island Queen Ferry was a very pleasant and highly efficient way to get from Falmouth to Martha's Vineyard for a half-day outing. (Left at 10:30 AM)

The crossing was exceptionally smooth, the ship clean and the crew couldn't have been friendlier. It was amazing how fast the ship could make the ocean transit.

We docked within an easy walk of the center of town on the MV side. The town is really lovely and I was able to take some great pictures.

The return trip to Falmouth (2:15 PM) ferry was every as nice and enjoyable as the trip over. I'd highly recommend the Island Queen for anyone who wants a vacation within a vacation.

“Very enjoyable”

Don't wait to the last minute to get there as the dock area was packed each time a good 20+ minutes before the ferry got there. Luckily we had been warned as well.

Very enjoyable. Nice staff.
