I stayed here recently for 2 nights and enjoyed the experience immensely. I found the house to be absolutely charming as were the owners. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bed linens imaginable. Breakfast was delicious as were the homemade afternoon treats which I enjoyed while seated on a docking chair on the porch. Although this b&b was the most expensive I stayed in I thought it was worth every penny. The hospitality of the hosts was second to none - very welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. Highly recommended!

This is a more of a small inn than a B&B, located in a beautifully restored old sea captain's house with a wraparound porch near the Falmouth Green. Excellent location. The bedrooms are very nice - albeit with quirky, and tiny, shower/toilet facilities added by the previous owners. The innkeepers are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We spent a long weekend when visiting Falmouth for a family matter; two couples and a 12 year old. Ended up hanging out on the porch in the rocking chairs enjoying the summer afternoons and evenings. Wonderful place!

We are very glad you enjoyed your stay with us. As you noted the room you stayed in (Tuscany) has "quirky and tiny shower/toilet facilities added by the previous owners". We are so happy that our expansion and renovation plans were passed by the town two weeks ago so that your room will have a brand new large shower/bathroom come next May when the renovation/expansion is complete and our 3 new rooms will all have king beds, fireplaces and large bathrooms. Some of our rooms (Nye and Forbes) already have their new bathrooms and we are thrilled that our guests have enjoyed the large 3 x 5 foot showers with rain shower head and other amenities. We hope you have the chance to come back and enjoy those rocking chairs on the porch!

We stayed at the Captain's Manor on our way to MV. The couple that run this place really have their game on. The setting is fantastic, the inn is beautifully restored but the rooms are just the best. We had to ask about the mattresses--and they are hand-made in New England--with a pillow top with another pillow top they add one. A firm bed with super comfortable pillow tops. Down pillows. Brand new bathrooms with marble and glass doors. Turn down service. High end toiletries. Quiet quiet AC. And, they sell tickets for the Ferry!. We had to arrive late due to a late start and they were very cool about waiting for us. And then they steered us to a great Irish pub restaurant within walking distance that had just a killer great three-piece Irish band that had the whole bar singing. Falmouth is a great town to-boot to explore on the way. But if you stay anywhere stay here and rooms were totally reasonable for $235. This is the perfect combination of high quality and easy-going, friendly owners.

It was great to have you as guests on your way over to Martha's Vineyard ! We are glad that you found it convenient that we sell tickets here for the ferry and that you enjoyed your room with the new bathroom and special amenities.

My husband, who never meets a stranger, has stayed in B & Bs many times when on business. He loves them. I, who never meet a friend, do not feel comfortable staying in someone's home for any length of time and have only stayed in one B&B prior to our visit at Captain's Manor. If Trish and Kevin's hospitality is any indication of B&Bs in general, I will definitely be staying at them in the future. The Inn was everything their website said it was and more. We stayed in the Nye and Forbes rooms which had been recently renovated, and they were absolutely luxurious. The veranda - or wrap around porch as we call it in the south - was a great place to relax after sightseeing all day. The breakfasts were delicious and because the weather was nice we got to eat on the veranda. How relaxing! The best part was knowing when you headed back to the Inn after a long day of sightseeing there was a sweet snack awaiting you with your room's name on it. You can't feel more special than that! Thank you so much, Kevin and Trish, for making our stay perfection in every possible way. The Wills.

Dear Will family thank you for your kind words. We loved being hosts to your family and seeing you enjoy the wrap around porch with your afternoon sweet after some sightseeing and a bit of shopping. I did have some withdrawal pains when you left as I missed hearing my favorite southern expressions such as y'all. All the very best and I hope the first year of teaching kindergarten goes well : )

The inn keepers are the sweetest people and are always willing to make your stay more comfortable. The location and property is charming and relaxing. The inn itself is beautiful and historic and the rooms are perfect. Every morning is greeted with a deliciously homemade breakfast such as omlets, crepes, or pancakes. Although it is a tad pricey, you get the best service, food and atmosphere around.

My husband and I stumbled across the Captain's Manor Inn when our other B&B could not accomadate us for one night (the first) of our trip. We spent the rest of our time in Cape Cod wishing our entire stay was there. The owners are warm, engaging, and attentive without hovering. They gave us the best recommendations for things to do and places to eat (thank you for the Glass Onion), which was a relief since our other inn did no such thing. The house was recently rennovated, so the accommodations were fantastic, especially the shower and the mattress---so refreshing! Cross your fingers that they serve the pumpkin pancakes during your stay. We will be going back and have been recommending it to all of our friends.
