Where can I start with the Captains Manor Inn? Without doubt my favourite place I have ever stayed!

We stayed for 3 nights recently as the last part of our honeymoon trip around New England and we really struggled to leave. From the moment you arrive Trish and Kevin are at the door to welcome you and help with your luggage, they welcome you in like you are old friends and it’s the same throughout your stay. They are both always on hand should you need anything, and Trish has some excellent suggestions of where to eat in Falmouth (trust her in regards to the Glass Onion, its great), however they are not in your faces all the time and give you the space you crave on holiday.

The Inn itself is excellent, since they acquired it Trish and Kevin have put a lot time sweat and dollars into creating a fantastic place to stay and their new extension works really well, you can’t tell what was the old building and what is new as it fits seamlessly together. The rooms are great and you have everything you need for your stay. Location wise it’s a very short distance to the main town and only about 10 minutes walk to the beach.

Kevin’s breakfasts are so good and they will fill you up for most of the day, however if you want more they are always accommodating. It was a real nice touch that whilst working our way though the fruit starter (poached pear with raspberry and white chocolate scone) that Trish leaves you with a card for you to choose how you want your eggs etc and what you would like with it, giving you the time to work out how hungry you are and choose what you want in your own time. The breakfasts over the 3 days were great and there were definitely clean plates from the two of us everyday.
In the afternoon in the new Bistro area you will find jugs of freshly made lemonade and ice tea along with homemade snacks fresh form the oven. Also there is tea and coffee there for you all day.

The Captains Manor Inn has everything you could require on holiday and more, if you are in Cape Cod on a romantic trip or even as a family I couldn’t recommend this place any higher. If you can go there and find anything to complain about you should just stay at home as you will struggle to find anywhere as good as this place.

Trish and Kevin thanks again for making the final part of our honeymoon so perfect, we can’t wait to return and know that when we do we will be treated like old friends.

We are indeed privileged to have been your hosts for the last part of your honeymoon and have you feel "without doubt my favourite place I have ever stayed". You are a beautiful couple and it was great to spend time with you. Never will forget the excitement of the weekend and the ingenuity you showed with that mechanical issue :-) We really appreciate that you took so much time to write a detailed review for potential future guests. We hope you are able to return and we can visit again and hear how newly married life is. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. All the best, Trish and Kevin

Trish and Kevin are the best inn keepers ever. We enjoyed our weekend more than we could have anticipated because of their warm and engaging style. The inn is gorgeous with an uncanny attention to detail. Our room was perfect. Downtown Falmouth is only a short walk away and so having a great dinner out and enjoying evening entertainment is easy. We highly recommend taking a vacation or weekend away here.

Room Tip: Any room would be wonderful!

We just stayed at the Captain's Manor Inn for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! Trish and Kevin are warm, welcoming and very helpful with ideas of what to do on The Cape. A full breakfast is cooked fresh every day... Yummy! And baked goods at night... Heaven! Trish and Kevin truly love their guests and it shows! The rooms are beautiful, spacious (with private baths) and the beds comfy (sheets are to die for)! The location is perfect to downtown Falmouth and the Glass Onion Restaurant, a must eat! We rented electric bikes, provided through the inn... So fun! We zipped over to Woods Hole and were able to see more of the area... It's a must do! We were sad to leave and wish we would have made this our only stay. When we return to The Cape this will be our home base and we will take trips to MV and Nantucket from here!

Room Tip: We stayed in The Hatch room... In the newer addition to the Inn. It's gorgeous with an amazing s...

This Inn is absolutely lovely...The Nye room is adorable, comfortable, and very clean. Kevin and Trish are very hospitable and go out of their way to be accommodating and pleasing. Breakfast is fresh, healthy and yummy. Location is ideal for Falmouth center, biking/walking trail, and The Glass Onion restaurant (the best on Falmouth). Don't hesitate to stay here.
