Maybe I am not as picky as the typical yuppie bostonian, but I thought this was hotel was great. After checking out of "hotel heroin" in Mashpee @ 1:30 am (we found a syringe in our room), our group was delighted to be pleasantly welcomed at the Admiralty Inn in Falmouth. Even at that late hour, they had two adjoining town-house suites available with enough room for 6 people in each. 2 stories, connecting spiral stair cases, comfortable king beds, two bathrooms in each, all at a reasonable price! They have a good size pool and a friendly staff. If you feel the need to write a bad review about this hotel maybe you should have coughed up a little extra cash and booked that beach front time share for your "royal" expectations. Don't expect gold when you pay for silver, just saying.

We had to go to Martha's Vineyard for a funeral in July and the only ferry reservation available was for 6:15 a.m. on a Sunday. I told my husband that we were waaay past the age of getting up and driving to the ferry in the middle of the night!

Because our dog always comes with us to the island, I had to find a motel that was close to the ferry and one that accepted dogs. My husband's only request was a motel with a pool. The Admiralty Inn met our criteria.

While the overall motel was a little worn down, it was absolutely fine for one night! (Remember, this is a motel, afterall!) The outdoor pool was very chilly, even in the middle of the heat wave, the indoor pool was perfect, even though the hot tub wasn't working. The wake up call came right on time and we made our ferry in the morning with not a problem.

If, in the future, we need to do this again, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We have stayed at the Admiralty Inn several times because there often isn't another hotel that will take you for one night on Cape Cod. Basically the rooms are ok but the general feel of the hotel is tired, dirty and not kept up. The pool is a good size but the chairs around it are partially broken and there are no little tables to put you soda or suntan lotion or book on. This place could be fixed with not a lot of investment. It feels like they assume no one will come again so why bother attending to the little details that make a hotel worth the price-which isn't inexpensive

The admiralty is centrally located, good value and allows you to drink beer at pool that stays open till 9pm! The townhouse rooms get very hot upstairs but if you are looking for a large value room to just sleep and shower it works fine.

Just returned from a bus trip with Diamond Tours who put us up in this Amenityville/ Psycho looking Hotel/Motel in Falmouth. BATHROOM: moldy ceiling, round toilet seat on an oblong commode, imagine taking a ride south, everytime you sit on it, sink has cracking moldly caulk arould it, towels so rough they shred your skin right off , but that may have been a good thing, to make sure you done carry anything around on you! BED : full size sheets on a queen size mattress which pop off during the night , also sheets "embroided" with the letters "ADMIN". (any ideas where they care from) POOL: warm water from jacuzzi pours over into pool, don't believe the pool water is treated correctly. (who knows what kind of bacteria is still lurking in it. HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE: Not happening here, (but management offered to put a guest who couldn't climb stairs in the basement) LIGHTS: very dim, Uummm, I can understand why they would want that. If you unfortunately find yourself at this place, don't use the ice machine, the ice scooper has been found in MANY unusual places.
Diamond Tours, you could have put us in a better place even if it meant charging us a little bit more. And you REALLY should have done a better job doing your "ONSITE" inspection when checking out this place. Or doesn't it matter when Diamond Tours already have your money !!!!!
