My wife and I dined here before a concert at the Narrows. Excellent service and attention from the family owners. Enjoyed little necks in a wine sauce, grilled codfish and tiger shrimp diablo style ...went with a recommended chilled red house wine. Excellent food with attentive service and solid value. We'll plan on bringing a larger group here to our next concert down in Fall River.

After a full morning of touring Fall River, we were steered to Columbia Street for a good place to eat. We did not realize that on Columbia St. itself ALL parking is only for 30 minutes. We parked and looked around for signs, when a shopkeeper came out of his shop and told us that the police never come around and not to worry. We were worried however, and planned to move the car, but while we had his attention, we asked about a good Portuguese restaurant close by. He told us that the best one was Cinderella, which was a few steps away. Since we did have half an hour, we decided to look at their menu. There was none posted outside, so we walked in. The super strong odor of ammonia just about overcame us. Something is definitely wrong when at lunch time the place is completely empty (not one customer) and the overpowering smell is just about nauseating. Out of courtesy, we looked at the menu, and saw that the prices (for lunch) were steep. I think the lowest was $14.95 for something. All we wanted is to leave, which we did with the excuse of having to move the car. How lucky for us, that we found a great parking spot a few blocks away right at the doorstep of Sagres Restaurant, where the place was packed and except for the odor of delicious food, no other odors were present.
