Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast is a fun & interesting place. to stay. If you have ANY interest in the story this is a must see. Lee Ann has turned this murder house into a home with comfortable surroundings and beautiful furnishings as well. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. A fun thing to do if you're looking for something a "little different".

We had taken the tour last fall and it is interesting, good history. We returned to spend the night($250) We were promised a seance in the basement and it never happened. The room wasn't very clean and the bathroom was also uninviting. We paid $50 more to have private bath and didn't fully use it. No hot water in the sink. Tub/shower was disgusting. Tour guide was part owner, we had to wake her for our 8pm tour at 8:45. And as embarrassing as it was I must report that she was intoxicated and we asked to postpone the tour until the morning. We didn't travel very far, but some others traveled 5 hours.......not worth it.

I've stayed at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast Museum dozens of times since it opened. It's the only B&B where guests have run of the entire house for as late as they want. Most B&B's have a common room and generally expected to have "lights out" at a certain time.
Not only are guides excellent hosts but also very knowledgeable on the case. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. History is all over the place and Lee-ann Wilber, the GM, makes available large albums (found in the parlor) that give the history of the case and the house - wonderful stuff often overlooked by guests. If you are drawn to stay because of an interest in the paranormal you'll likely not be disappointed - but I don't consider the house "creepy" at all, regardless of its #1 ranking. It has the feel of the Victorian era and exudes warmth and comfort. But, seek it and you will find, I suppose. I do believe the house is active, but not haunted. If visiting Fall River or the area in general, this is definitely the place to stay!!!

My wife and I had the wonderful and eerie pleasure of staying at the Lizzie Borden House earier this year. Management wasgreat and made sure we had a very comfortable stay and a satisfying breakfast the next day. To say that this was a great and totally unique experience is an understatement. It's difficult to explain how exciting and interesting it is to spend the night at the scene of perhaps the the most notorious murder the US has ever known (no offense OJ). During our overnight there we were given a complete history of horrific crime which occurred there and were treated to a seance in the hope of conjuring up the spirits of Lizzie herself as well as her murdered father and stepmother. It all made for an eerie yet totally fun stay and we loved it so much we are going back again. Many thanks to LeeAnn WIlber, who oversees the daily operations of the Borden House. She is very accomodating to say the least, and does all she can to make sure you enjoy sleeping overnight in what has been rated as the most haunted house in the US! If you're travelling in the New England area make sure you stop by...there is no place like it!

I learned a lot I didn't know about the home and the Borden case. Our host made the experience quite enjoyable. The rooms were also comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

We stayed in the Andrew and Abby suite at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast last October, and we're going back this October. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we even took a trip out to the cemetery at night! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
