“Clarification”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

I am a long time resident of Fairhaven and know the owner very well. I see some mis-statements here and I want to clarify. Margaret's and Elisabeth's are not owned by "sisters" They are sister restaurants. Both restaurants and the Ice Cream shop in between are owned by ONE man. Margaret is the name of the former owner's mother (or grandmother) And when the new owner bought it, he kept the name. He then named Elisabeths after his daughter, and the Ice cream shop in between he named Brady after his son.

Always a pleasure to visit either restaurant. The menus are similar. Elisabeth offers alcohol but Margaret's does not possess a liquor license, so BYOB. There was a period where portion sizes got a bit skimpy, but it never stopped me from going back and it seems to be getting back to normal. I have never had any problems with service, most of the staff has been there for years and years.

“Ordinary exterior with Extraordinary food”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Don't let the unassuming neighborhood and restaurant exterior fool you...Margaret’s of Fairhaven, MA truly has some World Class cuisine! Prices are great, especially for the amount of fresh seafood that we were served. The staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant had cozy home feel of somewhere you could hang your hat and stay awhile. We definitely plan on returning when we’re in the area again!

“Fantastic Breakfast”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Cozy setting, quick personable service and really great breakfast fare at reasonable prices make Margaret's our new favorite for breakfast out. We had been meaning to go for some time and finally remembered on a recent Sunday. Glad we did. They stop serving at noon on Sunday- so get there in time. You won't be disappointed.

“Fresh and pretty.”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

Breakfasts are delicious pretty and yummy. The building is very old so the dinning rooms are a little small but sitting by the window is great!
