Great for any occasion. Large 1600's era post n' beam farmhouse w/several different dining rooms, including loft, as well as, great bar dining w/flat screen tv & hightops. Very comfortable. Service is friendly & attentive, though sometimes slow, but that's only when they're super packed. Food is fresh & of very high quality. Meals are of generous portions & start w/warm bread basket. Fried Calamari & cherry peppers are a pile of both--crispy & spicy, perfect served over lemony arugula & a side of their delicious garlic aioli. Any way you have their Fried Native Clams you'll find they're large, sweet whole-bellied & delicious. The Stuffed Sole is stuffed with a salty crabmeat & scallop? mix. Delicious but salt needs to carefully bring out the flavors. The accompanying bearnaise sauce was good, but it seems like the sole was baked in it, rather than having it drizzled on, oils pooled to top. Eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, & home fries compliment this dish. Seared Scallops in Lobster Cream Sauce was cooked deliciously w/plump, tender large scallops. Baked Haddock is good w/a generous piece of moist white fish baked in their delicious crumbs. If you'd like a little bit of everything, try the Seafood Audrey which consists of scallops, shrimp, crabmeat, & salmon baked in a creamy casserole dish topped w/delicate crumbs. Both entrees are served w/ & choice of potato & daily vegetables. Buffalo Chicken Salad is standard, but of decent portion & quality. Clam Chowder & Onion Soup topped w/gruyere cheese are both rich n satisfying. Serves Lunch, dinner, Sunday Brunch, & full bar. Also check the specials. They also host some very nice Wine Dinners. We've never had a bad meal here!
