We ordered a sausage pizza, and it was delicious--one of the best pizzas we could recall. It was a nice bonus that the ingredients were organic and most of them local. The service was nothing remarkable--we had to wave our waitress over a couple of times for drink refills and extra napkins, but she was friendly and glad to oblige. We were there on a night which happened to be family night (I think it was Tuesday), so there were kids and parents dancing around with glowsticks. I don't have any kids, but it was still fun to watch the families enjoy themselves. They had a pretty good selection at the bar, and we were pleased with the quality of the drinks we ordered. We'd definitely recommend this restaurant to friends visiting the Vineyard.

I have been going to MV for many years and have had trouble finding a good pizza on the island. This year we found out about Flatbread and decided to give them a try. The location is remote (at the airport - quite far from town), but it was easy to get to by car and there is no parking problem. We decided to take out a few partially cooked pizzas. The pizzas were as described and needed about 10 minutes in the oven. We all loved the pizzas - very tasty and somewhat unique with organic toppings and ingredients. Would definitely go back for take-out pizzas again.

Our family decided to try this well loved flatbread pizza place. We had two different kinds of pizza, and both were terrible. Very bland, and even odd tasting. Still to this day I wonder what I was eating. Stay away from the sausage pizza, it doesn't taste right. Don't waste your time paying for this overpriced seagull food because of the hype. Instead check out Portos Pizza in Vineyard Haven for the best pizza around!

As a resident of W. Tisbury, which this restaurant borders, I have found it a great place for a casual meal with friends. The pizzas, on flatbread, are inventive with local ingredients--veggies and meats alike from Martha's Vineyard. I like pizza without tomato sauce, and Flatbread offers several possibilities that fall into that category. My favorite is the one with homemade sausage, but there are others. Every night brings a different 'carne' and 'veggie' special also. The brick oven, built by communal effort a few years ago, is open to view. Many nights there is music. On Tuesdays the restaurant gives part of its proceeds to a local worthy nonprofit. (They are often crowded then by that group's supporters.) And, since WT is essentially a dry town (tho there are now two exceptions) it's great to be able to get beer or wine with one's pizza. Rustic and friendly, individual and large pizzas available at reasonable prices. Visitors to MV who want to eat where locals do, take note! It's conveniently and centrally located on the airport access road.
