One of the worst expensive pretend-restaurants I've ever suffered. $42 steaks yet no bottled water? Echoing cries of "pan-seared!" Very dark, strange, horrid food, should just be a liquor store - Like eating in a reality show.

Indifferent service only made dining experience poorer with an inedible, fatty, grisly, $42.00 steak smothered with flavor overpowering peppery sauce. A shared appitizer was presented on one plate with an appeal for a spoon and additional plate. Server said she informed owner of my meaty comments and was answered with casual indifference that's the way it is! A non professional excuse for serving an inferior cut of beef and my fault for accepting it. A truly unpleasant experience.

If our snooty and entitled server had been different, we might give this place 5 stars. The food was excellent: "bag of fried oysters" appetizer, heirloom tomato and panco crusted brie salad, cornmeal dusted soft-shell crab over pea and lemon risotto, seared yellow fin tuna, jumbo shrimp. Our server started by suggesting that the cayenne martini one of us ordered before dinner off the cocktail menu was more appropriate after dinner. Our second order of heirloom tomato salad never arrived and he blamed the "non-english speaking" busser for the error. One of us ordered a double decaf espresso and the waiter told us they call that a "Why Bother". More presumptuous and condescending attitude. When it never arrived with our other coffees and desserts, he blamed the barista. But his coordination as our main server was lacking in both oversights; he never stopped back at our table to check on these things until too much time had elapsed. Desserts were a disappointment: Guinness brownie was dry, coconut dessert uninspiring, chocolate lava cake lacking an oozy center. So many tiers of servers, food deliverers, bus-boys etc. don't work and communicate together smoothly. Mainly our full-of-himself server left a bad taste in our mouth. The food and outdoor balcony seating almost made up for that.

We had dinner here one night on the recommendation of our Inn. A bit noisy and the tables were set too closely. However the food was good.We had fried oysters in a bag- a bit greasy .I had the roast half chicken and my husband had the lobster. Both of those were good. I would return again.

Food is very good, specially the sea food. Wine selection is also very good as is the service. My wife and I had a very nice time here.
