“Disappointing. Change of ownership?”

We have gone here for years ... typically biking for our morning coffee and a yummy slice of quiche to start our Vineyard day. This summer we found the experience very disappointing. The coffee was very weak (and I get an americano!) and the quiche, usually generous and nicely stacked with great ingredients was tiny, flat and uninspiring. And if that wasn't bad enough, prices are continuing to rise! We hear rumors of new ownership ... if so, they will run it into the ground with this kind of service.

Great coffee and excellent sandwiches!
They have a large outdoor seating area which is a nice place to hang out and enjoy your coffee or lunch.

Always a good choice

What is not to love- Great coffee and iced tea, really yummy bagels, and my husband loved the Mikes Breakfast sandwich ( Tomato, avocado and CC)! The line looks really long, but the staff is super and move it along quickly.

Where do you go for that intimate rendezvous, restful interlude, to take in the booty you've just scored at Edgartown Books, just round the corner? Here, where everything is tasty, inviting, and served up by lissome beauties imported from the East(ern Europe). Local and national papers of renown, just enough to catch up or get a local flavor are available, as are "gourmet" coffies, tees, pastries, and other delights. The outdoor seating is one of the great reasons to come. Set in a back courtyard, facing Lattanzi's restaurant outdoor seating, it's some of the best, most relaxed casual outdoor seating and people watching in Edgartown. Kids come by for a snack and date, an intriguing mix come to write, read or discuss their latest books, research, adventures, catch up with old friends/colleagues/travellers, do an interview for a film, radio, paper, book, research, or who knows what... amidst a quiet yet lively social and commercial buzz. The coffee and carrot cake were delicious, fresh, local, and prices modest (compared to similar places of my acquaintance in hipster Brooklyn and Manhattan).

Thank Adam R
