Last minute trip, walked to Atlantic, table for my daughter and I, outside. Waitress suggested special White sangria, perfect for hot evening. Delicious filet mignon and shrimp.

We visited on a Sat afternoon for a late lunch. We had the best time. The food was really good, and the view was to die for! We had the guacamole and chips s a starter. My lunch companions had different big salads. My husband and I split a salad and the lobster truffle mac and cheese. It was the best ever. So decadent and plenty to share. The bread was so delicious and the cocktails were great too!. Had the blueberry lemonade martini and it was so good, that I had to have another. It was so great to sit and relax under the umbrella with the fantastic view of the Edgartown Harbor.

Rented bikes in Oak Bluffs and biked to Edgartown. After poking around for a bit, we decided on a late lunch/early happy-hour type of meal and stopped in here. We were seated on their open-air porch with a fantastic view of the harbor. The starter bread was delicious - three varieties served with an amazing olive tapenade. It was a warm day so we wanted a nicely chilled white wine and chose a glass of the Banfi Pinot Grigio and a the Pacific Riesling - both were perfect! For food, we chose a caprese salad which had a yummy pesto topping. One of the afternoon specials was a ceviche - including yellowtail snapper, tomato, green pepper, mango, red onion and cilantro - and served with a side of pink sea salt. Our terrific waiter - Max - assembled this tableside and there was more than enough for two servings. It was nothing short of amazing! When my wife asked the sharply-dressed host where the ladies room was, rather than simply pointing, he asked a server to show her the way ... how classy is that! This turned out to be a PERFECT Vineyard lunch.

No, I don't want a $39 glass of wine! And if a dining experience is going to be as expensive as what this place charges it should, at the very least, be delicious. It wasn't! Being on the water is always preferable but the prices are just insane. I will NEVER pay for another meal here. Fun place at night though with the live music! I'll dance there. . .but a meal? Never again. Too many far superior options nearby. Not that those options were cheap (it IS Martha's Vineyard, after all) but, at least, we felt like we'd gotten our money's worth.

Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard is beautiful, but even more beautiful is eating at an excellent restaurant on the deck overlooking the marina and ocean!

The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Visiting family on the island this restaurant was chosen as other family members have dined here and loved it. It is good size and can handle large parties of diners. Our group of 5 was seated immediately and service was excellent.

The lobster roll was excellent with a light dressing and not loaded with mayo. It came with a side of French fries that were delicious. The Lobster appetizer was a real surprise--it was almost the entire lobster on the plate which could have constituted a meal. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the beautiful view from our table made it all that more enjoyable.

Can't wait to return!
