The evening I went (a Saturday), we were the only table so I assumed we would get great service. Wrong. The server stopped by about every 25 minutes if that and seemed to have no idea what she was doing. If the food had been great or even decent, I could have overlooked the crappy service a bit.
After looking over the menu I thought the quesadilla with sweet potatoes sounded decent. When I ordered it, I asked if they could please use another cheese as I hate goat cheese but any other kind would be fine. The waitress said there were no substitutions on it because IT COMES PREMADE AND FROZEN! What kind of supposedly nice restaurant just opens up a package and pops it into the oven? I can do that myself at home! I instead ordered the chicken quesadilla and the cheese was oddly slimy, the tomatillo sauce had a very unpleasant bitter taste (and I love tomatillo sauce/salsa verde) that was so strong I couldn't eat it. The sour cream looked like bottled dressing and tasted so bad I and the other two people who got the same dish all scraped it off. The rice and beans were bland and the whole dish lacked freshness and acidity.
The worst part of the whole thing? I was up all night getting sick.
Horrible and apparently not safely prepared food and lousy service? You couldn't pay me to go back here.
