This is a great place to stay if you want to explore Cape Cod, easy to find and convenient. Our hosts we're welcoming and provided all we could possibly need.

I have to confess that the accommodation is wonderful and much larger that I had imagined when looking at the phorographs well equipped and cosy.

If you like wildlife then you are in for a treat we saw many and varied birds who were constantly flitting too and fro from the many bird feeders located throughout the garden

“A few drawbacks”

We had a great time in Cape Cod, spending 4 nights in Crosswinds B and B. We loved the stocked fridge and homemade bread. Ron and Andrea were lovely hosts. In such a beautiful, rural place it was a shame that crosswinds is situated right on route 6, a four lane highway with a lot of traffic. We didn't spend any time in the garden or using the BBQ because of this, which was a shame. This may not bother others so much but we are city dwellers and were hoping to get away to peace and quiet.

Having been on the road for a week already we had stayed in some nice places. Crosswinds studio was a nicely decorated room with everything you could possibly need (including towels and coolers etc for the beach). However a drawback for us was the cleanliness of the room. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs, the place wasn't at the same standard as the other hotels and b and bs we had been in.

The cape is a beautiful place with gorgeous beaches. If we go back, we would look into staying somewhere closer to the beach and off the main roads.

The Studio is a comfortable room to relax and reflect. The homemade egg bread and breakfast selections were very fulfilling and hearty. The location of Crosswinds B&B is awesome. We were able to walk out our door and hike Fort Hill, stargaze, go to several beaches, and visit several historical sites that are located nearby. Hopingto return again next year.

Liked best: Location and the comfortable room.
Liked least: The area was a little bit damp. I think a dehumidifier would of been helpful, but the room was still wonderful.

“A quiet and friendly place for a relaxing getaway”

The Crosswinds B&B studio is a simple studio in Eastham. It is very well located on Route 6, just at the entrance of Eastham.

The main room has a kitchenette, a bed, a sofa, a table... It is not very big, but good for a couple without kids. The bathroom (with shower) is renewed. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The house also had a small garden with a barbecue, very useful in the summer!

The owners are just next door, so no problem to have the keys and to ask for help when needed. Ron & Andrea were very kind and had great advices about Cape Cod.

We felt very happy there. We relaxed and visited Cape Cod, that is all we were looking for.

Management Response
Aug 15, 2014
We were sorry to learn that our guests were dissatisfied with our housekeeping. The suite was cleaned quite thoroughly before they arrived, however, the microwave could have been overlooked and we appreciate the reminder to be more thorough. Our policy is to remove trash and used towels daily and do a full cleaning in between guests. It would be impossible to do that daily with luggage, clothing and personal items spread around the room and we try not to be intrusive for the few nights they are there. Perhaps a motel would suit them better, but we thank them for their honest feedback.
