Description: "Best fried clams in the world"-Food & Wine Magazine. Arnold's seafood is so fresh, any fisherman would approve. Native lobster, local raw bar, cocktails, fried and baked seafood, lobster rolls, salads, an extensive children's menu, gourmet ice cream, and mini golf. Arnold's owner is Nathan "Nick" Nickerson, a true Cape Cod native and Mayflower descendant. Nick grew up surrounded by the sea and worked on farms and with family in Cape Cod restaurants. Almost 40 ago he founded what has become the world-famous Arnold's Lobster & Clam Bar. From the start, crowds were drawn to the fresh, native seafood, generous portions, friendly service and fun Cape Cod atmosphere found at Arnold's. Pets are allowed in our outdoor area in the back.

“The place for fried seafood on the Outer Cape”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

Good place for families, Excellent Pink Lady Margarita. Be prepared to wait in line. Disappointed that they didn't have clam cakes, and the fried whole belly clams were a little bland at this last visit, but the chowder is delicious if you like it creamy. Sitting in tents it can get hot and crowded in the summer, but on the shoulder seasons, May, July, Sept, it's a great place to go.

“Yum!”
Reviewed June 22, 2014 via mobile

Casual. No credit cards. BEST lobster roll I have ever had. Generous portion and quality meat. The onion rings are excellent. Delicate and delicious. On a second visit, I had the fried scallops. Delicate and sweet, they were. After "discovering" Arnold's last year, it was on my must-do list for this trip.

“Fun place you'd expect to eat at once while visiting the Cape”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

They do not take credit/debit cards, so bring your cash. Other than that, I cannot say enough good things about the food.

I had a wedge salad with lobster salad on it. I was so happy to have a bite of bacon with a piece of lobster with it, omg.... heaven! The lobster salad was perfectly done. Not too mayonaissey, the lobster was perfectly cooked. My daughter had a fried fish platter, served on a frisbee. Her fish was cooked just right. My husband had a clam boat, also cooked to perfection (I snuck a clam, very tasty!) I would have liked to have tried the fresh raw bar too, but my daughter was eager to try the mini golf out back. We had fun playing. Then we finished our time there with an ice cream for all. We would love to go back!

“Always a Line Out of the Door”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

There is always a line snaked out the front door of Arnold's on Route 6, a sign that there must be something good inside. There is -- a full menu of seafood dishes, sandwiches, salads and even a raw bar. The best way to enjoy seafood here is to have it deep fried whether clams, oysters or cod -- with a side of fries or the huge portion of onion rings, of course. The fish is fresh so the taste is delicious. But salads are not simply an add-on for Arnold's; they have fresh ingredients and are creatively designed. There is a small bar with the limited beer and wine selection to fill out a meal. But there is more -- a full array of ice cream options right out the door so dessert only adds to the great taste. A young, enthusiastic counter staff backed by a veteran cadre of cooks move the line pretty well. It is best to capture a table before ordering. Arnold's does not take credit cards. A premium price for everything but well worth it.!
