Here is the what we thought:

Positives: extremely clean toilet and tub, centrally located, nice landscaping, close to bike trail, has a fridge, tv and microwave; easy parking. Also, accomodated our very late check in with ease and friendliness.

Negatives: very loud air conditioner, pillows and sheets not great; shower not good; faucet on sink is terrible (we all burned ourselves more than once - no hot/cold indicator and no pattern to water temp.); ceiling fan loud and shakes, carpet dirty (our feet were black from it); hotel provides dishes, but were dirty (also you wash your dishes in the small bathroom sink in your room - this is not super sanitary and there is no catch for food crumbs, etc.)

We would not stay here again, just because the positives did not outweigh the negatives for us. We stayed over a week and this was too long. I might recommend it for a night or two if you are ok with the negatives.

A very friendly place in a convenient location for all the mid and upper Cape. The place was clean and well maintained - the room staff did a great job. Although just off the main road it was surprisingly quiet. The free internet access was good although occasionally a bit slow. There were plenty of brochures in the reception area and we were given good tips on places to eat. We enjoyed our stay and wished it had been a little longer!

This was a fantastic find. It exceeded our expectations in every respect and we absolutely intend to return. Thanks to its location, backing up to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, we were able to rent bicycles and steer clear of traffic jams on U.S. Highway 6. The bicycle-hiking trail provided easy access to some of the Cape's best beaches and restaurants.
We loved the 1960s motor court charm of the Midway, which was complete with shuffleboard, badminton and horseshoes. I can imagine the original owner planting the oak and pine trees that are now all grown up, creating a motel-in-the-woods atmosphere.
The owner and staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful, responding to our every request. Their restaurant and shopping tips were unfailingly on the mark.
Bottom line, we felt taken care of like family from the moment we drove up. It was hard handing over the key after five nights in one of the most relaxing lodging places we've ever stayed in.

We stayed at the Midway Motel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. However, we were disappointed with what we found. It was very difficult to get information about where we could eat, what we could do in the local area etc and there is no internet access, which would have been needed to make up for the lack of information provided. Although the room was cleaned to a hig standard, the ceiling fan was clearly in need of maintenance and the outside door was difficult to lock. If we were to book our holiday again we would stay in the mid cape as the upper cape is easily accessible by road for day trips and this would provide better value for money.

The hoteliers at Midway are friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, if modest and a bit dated, but certainly clean. This was the perfect place for us to stay because all we needed was a comfortable, clean room and a shower, since we were spending most of our time driving up and down the Cape and finding great little places to eat.

If you're looking for a luxurious, five-star, gourmet restaurant-type of palace hotel, this isn't what you want. But if you want to feel comfy, rested and like you got your money's worth, the Midway is for you.

It's located very conveniently, and although it's off the main highway, it's very quiet, set back in the woods.
