“great place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2014

Stopped in for lunch last week with my family and really liked the "vibe" similar to the carribbean with it's airy open doors to outside patio. All our meals were served promptly and tasted wonderful. I had a roasted beet salad that was like I've never had before. A bit pricey but isn't everything in a tourist area? Large portions on the burgers and other sandwiches enough to take home leftovers. Server was sweet and our plates were cleared promptly after eating by a very nice young lady. We even lingered with a second drink cuz it was just so comfortable!

“Poor Service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2014

Food not bad, however in our party of 5 two did not get the appetizers they ordered so when food finally arrived they cancelled the appetizers. Waitress forgot to bring a drink ordered as well as iced tea. When iced tea came, taste was more like iced dishwater. Waitress never came back to check with us re: water, etc. They didn't seem to care about good service. Pretty expensive for the food and service that one should get. Not consistent with drinks, first bloodymary had 3 olives and lime, second one just tomatoe juice. This was our last trip there. There are better places to eat on the cape.

“What is up with the staff?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

My family tried to get a table tonight and when we walked up there were 6 empty tables outside and several tables inside. We saw maybe 2-3 parties waiting for a table. We were told it was a 30 minute wait. We put our name down and tried to go to another restaurant where the line was visibly long. We decided to go back to Stewart's hoping that they would have seated the few waiting parties and then we could get a table. Sure enough 15 minutes later the same 6 tables outside were still empty. The hostess could not have been more clueless. Only go if you can deal with the craziness of watching empty tables sit empty!

“Don't Go”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

Stopped in on a Monday night to order 3 to go entrees. Not complicated very basic. 45 minutes later, no food, no update on our meals. A slow night. There were only 7 parties outside, 2 inside, and we ordered before they were seated. The kitchen has an open viewing area so I watched the prep. It appears as though the 2 cooks, prepare one meal at a time, very slowly I might add. I asked the bartender what would the situation be like if the restaurant filled up? No reply. The owners came in at about 7oclock and went to tidy up 2 decorative trinket sections of the restaurant, not assisting or acknowledging the problems the cooks were having. The wife informed me that meals were cooked to order, once again, obviously one at a time! When our food arrived, we left and not one other party had food on their table, too bad, because these families had children that seemed very hungry Both owners were indignant and rude.My advice to the owners? Open a knick-knack store, that seems to be your passion

“On our way up to Wellfleet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2014

We stopped for lunch (formerly Eastham Lobster Pond) and thought the place looked great! The bar service (Sam) was awesome and made some great Margaritas with fresh lime juice! Our food was excellent!!!, from Lobster bisque to the MOST TENDER AND DELISH, lightly crispy scallops we have ever tasted-Also got the seafood medley which was a special that included Shrimp, clams strips and oysters all lightly breaded and crisped served on some tasty shoestring fries. This place was so good , we stopped on our way Home to CT again from our week vacation. Lobster bisque (again) and this time clam chowder. It was so good and chock full of clams. Also ordered the Udon soup bowl...YUMMM, can you say HUGE! Ate it for three days. We Also ordered the Lobster Quesadilla-what a tasty, lobstery, saucey in the tortilla with chunks of lobster and a side of homemade Guac. AND The Clam Bellies were so good and a great MP! Lobster roll (ask for it' hot'; because it comes both ways, but the hot lemon butter.MMMM..It is so much more tastier) and Fish and chip sandwich platter. Located right off the Bicycle Trail too
OUTSTANDING!
