The visitor’s center was very informative. The volunteer at the desk gave us some good ideas of what to see. There are several short videos available in the theater. We viewed three, and they were all good. A good introduction to the park.

The Visitor Center is "THE PLACE" to get your orientation to Cape Cod - there are videos, a wonderful group of rangers who are very willing to answer your questions and offer advice, brochures and other materials to make your visit the best it can be. The exhibits will add to even the most knowledgeable person's information. Don't miss the trails - they are a good compliment to a beach experience

If you want to learn more about Cape Cod, don’t miss this place! A pleasant mile hike around the salt marshes awaits you on the outside, while inside there are incredible exhibits that include educational short movies, a museum of items from the cape and its whaling history, as well as a topographical display of the cape and exhibits of local shells and wildlife. They also offer programs such as canoe trips through the salt marsh and an amphitheater for presentations. We spent a lot of time here during our visit. Don’t miss it!

We parked at the visitor center and took the Nauset Marsh trail and decided to also follow the spur to Coast Guard beach. It was a great walk past the salt pond and through forest. It wound up being over 5 miles out and back, though not really strenuous.
If you want a good long trail, mostly shaded this is a good choice.

I happened to stop by at this visitor center without much expectations (just to kill the afternoon). Surprisingly they provided plenty things to do at the visitor center and surrounding area. I took the ranger-guided walking tour on the Nauset Marsh trail behind the visitor center, which provided fantastic view and a good knowledge of the ecosystem as well as the history of the area. They also have a canoe tour on specific day of the week, which you can RSVP online. Beside the tours, this visitor center also have a exhibit area, a small museum and a theater showing several short films related to the national seashore.
Some tips: There is a very nice bike trail from the visitor center, which leads you to the nearby beaches and lighthouse (a couple miles away). Usually there are also some activities there (I took the guided tour at Three Sisters lighthouse, which is very neat). The beaches and the lighthouse also worth checkout for their own sakes.

Nice movies, great museum of local history and a great gift shop. View from this visitor center were not that exciting. I prefer the othe visitor center in that regard but the museum is worth the visit!

As we were just in for a day we got very helpful tips and explanation from the staff what to do to get the max out of the park. Clean restrooms. Enough room to park and plenty stuff to see in and outside the center.

What a treasure. Everything from a well-crafted Wampanoag exhibit to short films to art exhibits to hands-on educational outings. This is the best visitor's center on the Cape.
