“A Nice Friendly Place to Stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We recently stayed at this motel while visiting a sick friend in the area. We had such a warm and comfortable stay at this motel. The owner is one of the nicest people we've ever met. We had a king size room near the office and it was nice and kept very clean. It had everything we needed including a small fridge and a microwave in the room. We also had wi fi access. We went off season so we were not able to try the breakfast but it is something the locals strongly suggest trying! We did get a nice breakfast across the street. I cannot wait to stay again in season when the pools are open and the breakfast is being served. I would recommend this motel to anyone. It's nice and cozy and clean and the people who run it are the BEST! Tip: If you have a dog a nice stop just up the street is The Cape Cod Dog...we brought home treats for our friends dogs.

Your review certainly made our day. It was lovely to have you with us and while we do not let pets stay at our motel, we are very happy you found the Cape Cod Dog for treats to bring home. Eastham is such a lovely town to visit and we have a really nice busines community for our guests to patronize. Once again, Kitty, Joe and I thank you for your very kind words.

Very reasonable rates with great rooms. A super staff with a caring and attentive Innkeeper. I am a repeat customer. Family friendly and right on the Cape Trail. Close walk to some nice eating spots. Also close to Willy's Gym which is the premier fitness club on the Cape. Can not wait to come back. Not the facility is recently updated. Looking forward to bringin my wife next time.

2 wonderful nights in a very very nice motel. Expected good and got GREAT! Everything especially the beds made our stay perfect. Breakfast was another big plus along with the people that ran the facility. Very clean with all the amenities you need (tv, fridge, micro, internet etc.). We will be back and often.
P.S. the attractions in the area are also the kind of things you go to Cape Cod for.
Thanks Town Crier

We just came back from a weekend at the Town Crier. It was a total dissappointment, looks much better on their web site. We did not think the staff was warm or friendly. The breakfast buffet was terrible, all the food was cold. The room was clean but had a very odd smell. The bathroom needs to be updated, there wasn't even a fan for ventialtion. The sink did not drain well and was constantly dripping. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The day of a family wedding I made a huge blunder and checked in to the wrong hotel. The folks at the front desk were very understanding and so incredibly nice! The room was spotless and looked very comfortable. They were so understanding, refunded my money and said they understood, even gave me directions to where I was suppossed to be! I think most places would have kept my money and told me "tough luck". Next time we go to the Cape, we'll stay at the Town Crier. It's so encouraging in this day and age that there are still some kind people who haven't forgot the importance of being nice and showing that they care.

My family has stayed at this motel many times, and will continue to do so. We have been fortunate
to do a lot of traveling, and We have never met a friendlier, more accommodating staff. Judy and
Her family will make You feel like one of their own. They take pride in this motel, and They should.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is refreshing, and the breakfast buffet is excellent.
The grounds are peaceful and well kept, and there are many great places for dinner nearby. We
have recommended this motel to several friends and family members, and each of them has had
nothing but great things to say. This motel is truly a great Cape Cod experience.

I'm really surprised how they still stay in business, our room smelled bad, the lady left our key inside the room with the door unlocked because we arrived after 6pm (nobody to be found at the service desk until the next morning), my issue with that was the door knob was from the 60's and didn't know how to lock it, we had all our friends give it a try and nobody knew how to lock it, so we had to leave all our stuff inside our car.. the owner was rude to my sister at the breakfast buffet, as she went to serve herself and the lady (Judy) yelled at her, to tell her she will do that, no reason to yell... Most customers we talked to at the motel complained that their sheet's weren't cleaned. Guess were I wont be staying again???
