We have stayed at the hotel several times over the years, just feel nice to be in a hotel althoug does feel like we are in Cape Cod.
The last time we stayed their the room was big and nice, the restaurant serves good food, service is nice the saff are pleasant.
The pool was desapointed the water was not very clean, the hot tub did not work it was out of service.
My husband likes to go in whirlpool every time we gob in a hotel, didn't like that.
There is more work to do as far as the pool goes.
I feel that the place to to expensive for what they give, doesn't have the luxury of other Sheratons around the country in our view.
When we stay in the winter is just because we like to stay were food is served and go to be away from the city life.

Room Tip: Nice get away for people who likes to be an hotel itch a nice name but expensive.

We've made this hotel a part of our tradition on the Cape and would like to continue doing so for years..I just hope this hotel keeps up with us....some updated pros and cons:

Pros- Always nice front desk staff (esp Kelsey), enjoy the bike closet you offer, cookies & lemon water always appreciative in the lobby, being able to open the windows just a bit is nice for fresh air, and the landscaping seemed to be updated recently, looked really nice.

Cons-
I'm still waiting and wishing there were more places to hang towels/swimsuits in the rooms..with shower, pool, beach, etc.. there are not places to do that.
I didn't like the door propped open (by staff) by the laundry room, it is a security issue. Have staff use their keys to get in, and not kept open for smoke breaks, or?
Our room felt a little shabby as opposed to in the past; maybe it's time for some painting and small maintenance work. Peeling paint on the door which was falling apart a bit, baseboards poorly cleaned, have to keep up with these things or they start to look bad.

SPG or not...we're SPG members and feel should be put in SPG rooms.

Finally, the pools.
While we enjoy the updated indoor pool (new tiles, etc.) and the classic outdoor pool (although what happened to the bushes/shade around it?!) we think you're outsourcing your pools to too many groups.
While there we encountered the following:
A) A class practicing scuba diving- I kid you not!
B) An exercise group with noodles.
C) Local people who have seemed to have paid for a pool membership trying to do laps in the pool as exercise with no lap lane and getting mad at us for wanting to jump in the pool and have fun...hello we're on vacation!
D) Local people who crash on these pools..esp the outdoor pool. A fact after conversations we heard these people having.

Four Points- I understand the need to make some extra $ from your pools, but I feel you should remember that the pools are an amenity for your paying guests in your rooms...where your bread and butter come from...maybe focus on more of those groups during the off-season.

We'd still return..and plan too..just hope to see some improvements in these areas.

This is a pretty run of the mill corporate travel sort of hotel. We arrived late and I had the impression of navigating a sprawling labyrinth to get to our room. They were hosting a loudish wedding party that night. The room was a good size and clean, just didn't feel like we were at the cape. I think they had an indoor pool which is probably great if you are traveling with kids.

If you are looking for a nice place to stay for the family this hotel is very nice. Clean and reasonable prices. Near the beach and food is good. Indoor and outdoor pool and plenty of parking. Folks at the front desk are very helpful with good local information.

My husband and I along with our two kids ages 11 and 13 stayed overnight on Saturday Oct 19th.We had drove to Wellfleet from Ct early Saturday morning and went right to Oyster Festival. As we pulled in the parking lot the Hotel looked a lot more appealing than all the motels we drove by to get there. We arrived at this hotel at 2pm and check in wasn't till 3pm but our room was ready. The front desk clerk Tabitha was very polite and greeted us with a smile. The lobby appeared clean....and had no odor.We were on the second floor which you had to use stairs which we didn't mind. Our room 213 was very clean with two double beds...a flat screen TV and free Wifi. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. There was two arm chairs and a small table with a lamp that was great for my husband and I to sit in.We called the front desk for a minor plumbing problem and the maintenance man arrived within 5 minutes and fixed the problem. The AC is a unit under window and was a little loud but worked great. The pool looked very clean but we didn't use it.We didn't hear any noise through our walls. We would recommend this place to friends. Check out smooth Cassie also friendly and helpful.Compliments to housekeeping staff since I am a very overly clean person.......

Room Tip: We stayed on second level......very nice.

I recently participated in a seminar in S. Wellfleet, MA which necessitated a stay at a decent hotel. That's how I ended up at the Four Points by Sheraton which was just five minutes from the seminar facility and provided discounted rates to seminars hosted by the facility. It's likely the hotel was built some time ago and I was assuming it was a different kind of hotel but was told by many that it was, in fact, built as a Four Points Sheraton. Nonetheless, the hotel is rather "worn" -- indoor pool designed to look like you were actually outside, not a great lobby/public area, rooms are okay, bathrooms are small, hallways need work, there is no elevator (not sure how they accommodate guests with disabilities) and hotel restaurant leaves something to be desired. Electric keys always took several "swipes" before they opened the guest room and there are not enough outlets for today's electronic devices. The staff was nice enough but it's not a place that I would necessarily return to if I came back to this area.
