“Best Beach north of Miami”
Reviewed July 2, 2014

Just a beautiful place to spend time. Storms and winters are favorites... no crowds and big waves. The wind can be strong and the temps cold, but solitude at its best.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

We went to this beach after the first beach we tried was closed, due to no parking. We rode the shuttle to the beach and had a picnic while watching the sea lions swim in the ocean. We walked up to the next beach in about an hour to view the beautiful lighthouse. It was an amazing experience and I didn't want to leave.

“Small Classic Cape Beach”
Reviewed June 29, 2014 via mobile

We ended up at Coast Guard Beach because the parking lot at Nauset was full (it was late in the day). You have to park into in the lot ($15) and take the beach shuttle, but the shuttle came quickly and because it was late we were the only ones on it.

The beach was still busy and beautiful. It is wheelchair accessible as well.

We enjoyed some brief late afternoon relaxation before needing to be back to catch the last shuttle to the lot at 5:15.

“A Crowd Favorite”
Reviewed June 25, 2014

One of the beautiful beaches on the ocea side near the Cape Cod Visitors Center. This is set on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic with stairs descending to the beach below. Good restrooms and changing facilities with access to an occasional food truck. The old Coast Guard Station has been moved and reconstructed at this site so, making the area even more inviting. A satellite lot between the Center and the beach holds car overflow with a shuttle bus. A National Parks fee during the season.

We have visited this beach a few times and it always amazes me at how beautiful it is. Plenty of space, always clean and the view is beautiful.
