We wanted to see a light house up close and this one had great reviews. Light house was a nice, easy little walk from parking lot and it was beautiful. Well worth it.

Something about this lighthouse just makes it standout a bit more than some of the others. You can get up and close to it with no problem and sometimes they have 'tours' that allow you up into it. Definitely stop by if you're visiting the Cape.

Nauset Lighthouse is my favorite, probably due to the red color and the beach there (Nauset Light Beach, Eastham). Of course, it's been moved back from the edge of the dunes and the history of it is interesting. You'll need to visit to hear that, from the docent. The view from the top of beautiful. We were fortunate enough to rent an oceanfront cottage across the street from it. The lighthouse added so much to the energy of the area - the beacon rotates and adds a feeling hard to describe. Very peaceful. If I recall, there is not an entry fee but they do have a donation box. Salt air takes a toll on any buildings and they depend on this.

Great beach with wonderful waves to jump it. Kind of expensive on the weekends during the season ($15.00) for admission/parking. The restaurant could use some competition also.

Wonderful place to see the sights. You can walk just off the parking lot and get a wonderful dunes beach view too.
