This is a great place to access the Atlantic coast of the cape, and the lighthouse is beautiful. I recommend you visit on a clear night and listen to the surf while taking in the stars.

Standing silhouetted against the sky, a beacon of safe waters and home. Testing the winds of time, it stands strong in the day and night. The first time I saw this lighthouse I was four years old, now over seventy the awsome feeling of strength and beauty linger in my mind. A great bit of history to admire, a must see for everyone.

Saw Nauset Light Beach, Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light on this trip. Beautiful views from the beach, great sand. Iconic lighthouse.

I think that this is the iconic lighthouse on the Cape Cod potato chip bag -- of great interest to a younger family member. The lighthouse is well maintained and beautiful. Also take the short walk to see the Three Sisters lighthouses, moved to preserve them from the crumbling shore. (The park ranger was wrong, I think, in telling us that only one was original. All three are original ninetheenth century lighthouses, but only one still has the light at the top.)

A must see at the Cape any time of year and particularly off season when the crowds are thin and quiet.
