Stopped of to see the beach before we went to Provincetown. Amazing views from every directions. Becah was great. Very clean. Lots of people on the beach when we went, but its a huge beach so plenty of room. Water was around 74 degrees. A tid on the chilly side, but what a place. Felt like a Kennedy stomping groung. There is a bathroom equipped with showers. I think the price for a car full of people was around $15.00. Great price for a grea time.

A must see if you are traveling to the Cape. Park in the beach parking lot and follow the path to the lighthouse. Two very knowledgeable gentlemen gave the history and answered all our questions. Esay walk up the stairs to the top of the light and you can take pictures of everything. Another separate smaller building has pictures and written history to describe how the lighthouse came to be and how it had to be moved back because of erosion. You do not have to pay to see this light, however there is a donation box.

The Nauset Light House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's constructed of cast iron with a brick lining and stands to a height of 48 feet. Built in 1877, it was a victim of cliff erosion and in danger of collapse, so it was moved in 1996 300 feet inland where it stands today. Visitors can still see the former foundation of the lighthouse on the beach below.

Parking is limited near the lighthouse and is located in a lot run by the National Seashore across the street. This majestic light house is well worth the trip.

This lighthouse has been moved back from the eroding shoreline to its present location - fun to take a tour. It sits next to a National Seashore beach - Nauset Light Beach - beautiful spot. Nice to visit in the evening when you can walk on the beach and see the lighthouse shining over the ocean. Wooden steps down to the beach.
