when i first moved to Wareham everyone talked about how great the food is at Lindsey's so i went for lunch with high expectations. boy was i let down. I love seafood so i ordered the scallops, they were overcooked to the point of rubber, floating in a casserole dish full of oil, with a weird crumb topping. the others in my party agreed with me when i sad the food awful. I understand the concept, it's suppose to be cheap family " home cooking" i can't speak for others but food at my home was never that bad.
I don't know if it was the easy clean chair cushions or what, but the whole time i was there i felt like i was dining in a nursing home cafeteria. the only redeeming quality of Lindsey is that the food is cheap (but you get what you pay for). maybe if we didn't have such high hopes when we went there we wouldn't have been so disappointed.
