We stopped in at Amari's last week for the first time. After dining there, I can guarantee that we'll be back. First class service, atmosphere and food adds up to a great experience. The food was excellent and the portions generous!

We came as a party of 6 on a busy Saturday night. We were able to get reservations that day for the time of our choosing (a rarity on busy Cape Cod) and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Both the wine and food menu had a lot of choices. Our server was extremely attentive. The drinks did not all come at the same time, but she was prompt with them. My mixed drink was excellent and a generous size. Fresh bread - nothing special - was offered with olive oil. Our waitress advised us that our party could share 2 salads and she was correct. We shared 2 delicious beet salads: fresh greens, cooked beets, goat cheese, tomatoes and toasted macadamia nuts with a perfect dressing. A few beets were slightly undercooked, but overall, the salad was superb and I would definitely order it again. For my entree, I had cheese ravioli which they claim is from the North End. The ravioli were perfect and served with a delicious red sauce. My spouse had salmon ala Griglia - baked salmon stuffed with goat, ricotta and cream cheese, herbs, artichokes, and roasted red peppers with a lemon butter sauce. It was very good. It came with sauteed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes, but our waitress allowed us to get a second vegetable instead of the starch. While I thought the spinach was rather bitter, the asparagus was perfectly cooked. Everyone else seemed to like their entrees and they were so large that most of us took doggie bags home. The restaurant was quite full and the noise level was pretty high, but not uncomfortably so and the place quieted down quite a bit as people left. They had entertainment in the bar. All in all, we thought the food was good and our server was really excellent. The restaurant is not cheap (entrees' are in the high teens to 20's), but we all had an excellent time and were very happy.

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere, opens at 4:30 pm for dinner, and is near Sandy Neck Beach, on 6A. The food is generally very good, and the pasta portions are really generous (fresh pasta brought in from Boston's famous north end). You can definitely share one pasta entree for two people. The bar is busy and friendly, and in the winter, the double sided fireplace is inviting. There is a take out pizza service as well, and it is very good. During the off season the pizza ovens are off by 7:30 though, so plan ahead for ordering. A good stop.

We stopped in at Amari's last week after being away for a couple of years. After dining there, I can't imagine why it took so long to come back. First class service, atmosphere and food adds up to a great experience. This might have been the best Chicken Parm I've had on the Cape. All of the meals were excellent and we all brought some home for the next day. These are very generous portions to say the least. We will be back again soon!

The chicken parmesan tasted like it had was from frozen chicken patties from Walmart. there was 6 of us at the dinner table and no one was happy with their orders. The waitress was excellent but that is not why I go to a restaurant....the food is most important
