“Not fair to add a gratuity after a credit card after signature”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

When paying the bill I put a tip in the appropriate box on the bar.
Recently, when I checked the credit card account, I discovered that the restaurant had added a 2 $ tip after I had signed the credit card receipe.
The amount is not important and I will not make a trouble but it's important to warn the customers: be aware that this restaurant is not honest!

“Unassuming beach side cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

Visited each time I visited the beach. Enormous choice of options. Good value. Some times long queues but service is very fast. Met the owner and had a chat on a quiet rainy/windy day, who named the cafe 24 years ago when he opened after his new born son Liam. Lovely man.

“Worst ever”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

Went to Nauset Beach yesterday and decided to give Liam's a second chance. First time was terrible, food was horrible. Well, yesterday myself, my husband, daughter, granddaughters decided to stay at the beach and catch the evening concert and order from Liam's for supper. Big mistake! I ordered a salad with cranberries and walnuts, figured no one can mess up a salad. The salad had goat's cheese added, which I don't like and not mentioned in their menu. Clam strips, onion rings and grilled cheese were also ordered. The fried stuff was Luke warm and so greasy. The best line is when my 9 year old granddaughter said "a girl must have made my grilled cheese" as she is pulling a long strand of hair from her mouth! How disgusting is that! Needless to say, dinner went into the trash and we wasted about $60.00!! I can't understand the long lines either, their food is gross!!!

“Cape tradition”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

We travel to the Cape every year, and Liam's on Nauset Beach is a tradition for us. This clam shack is right on one of the best beaches on Cape with miles and miles of walking and getting away from it all. So that doesn't hurt. As for Liam's the onion rings are the best, thin and delectable, much like tempura. This year we dined on a feast of clam chowder, whole fried clams, onion rings and raspberry-lime ricky. Couldn't ask for more!

“Nauset Beach Delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

Quick, tasty & generous portions...... Caution....their JUMBO sizes can feed an army... perfectly located near one if the beach entrances, Liam's offers a great alternative for days when you just don't feel like packing a lunch.
