“Disappointed”

No mention of a dog when booking. The dog is allowed in the bedrooms and on the beds! Room was tiny and the bath was not in the room - you had to enter the hall to access. Breakfast was store bought muffins and fruit. Hosts were nice but was very disappointed.

If you are in the Duxbury area, don't miss this gem! This bed and breakfast is serene, beautiful, and perfectly located for visiting Plymouth, Cape Cod, and Boston. As an added bonus, there was free, high speed Internet access. The breakfasts were delicious and bountiful. Shirley, the owner, was delightful and pampered us in so many ways. A five star hotel could not have been nicer! We will be back.

This bed and breakfast is nestled under some pine trees with lots of gardens, patio, basketball court and even horseshoe pits (the bball court and horseshoes were put to use by my husband and our teen daughter). We stayed in the largest suite which was very nice with lots of privacy. This home is a little off of the beaten track and it felt very safe there. The chocolates were a yummy touch. If you like coffee, the hosts have stocked lots of different flavors. Unfortunately we couldn't have a full kitchen with oven but our hostess went out of her way to cook a frozen pizza for us in her oven and then delivered it to us on a serving plate! The breakfast was cooked courtesy of our host and was delicious with the added delight of it being served on the patio in the sunshine.

Tall Pines is the place to stay in Duxbury, MA! The owners made us feel like family with their warmth and hospitality. They are super kid-friendly, even with young children. There is a nice play area outside for kids along with a basketball hoop and beautiful pool. The rooms and gardens look like something straight out of a magazine. Breakfast is delicious and filling ever morning. My husband, daughter and I cannot wait to return! I would recommend Tall Pines to everyone I know.

My friend and I rented the suite and we both had a rose and chocolates in our room. The place is quaint, decorated beautifully and lovely. Shirley and Bart were wonderful hosts, always going the extra mile to make our stay pleasurable. The breakfasts were fantastic. We always had to take the wonderful home made muffin with us for a snack later in the day. The grounds are just beautiful and there is plenty of outside seating for relaxing and enjoying the environment. We hope to come back in the fall for the turning leaves and stay with Tall Pines once again.

We had a really lovely stay at Duxbury Tall Pines and the location is lovely - a hidden gem. Shirley and Bart were so accommodating and friendly, it truly felt like a home away from home. The accommodation is lovely, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Shirley and Bart couldn't have done more and we couldn't have felt more welcome. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B and I look forward to making a return visit.

Bart and Shirley run a classy, yet comfortable, place to stay. I felt like they were family by the time we left. We had the family suite - which gave us a private place to gather together to eat, to lounge around, to watch TV, etc. We had our own little kitchen, which made things much easier for us during our 5-night stay. I will definitely have to go on a diet after 5 days of their amazing breakfasts - a different meal each day, served on the most charming place settings. The decor in the entire house and especially in each bedroom is incredible - beautiful, comfortable, calming.
We truly enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the afternoon sun.
Tall Pines was far more than we expected - we were delghted with every aspect of our visit, and can't recommend it enough.
