This is the second time my husband and I have travelled to the Cape and the second time we stayed at the Cutty Sark. We were here two years ago and we knew we would be back. The owner Pat is great. He maintains a beautiful property. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and provide all the comforts of home. He personally checks every room prior to your arrival to make sure it meets his standards. He is a wealth of knowledge of the area which allows you to see, do and eat at the best places. We met others on our trip who were staying here for the first time and all said they would be back. It is a gem of a place! Don't hesitate. He caters to families and couples. The location is amazing. It is right across the street from the beach and the onsite pool is very clean. We would highly recommend this place. We are already planning on heading back next year.

We were looking for a place at the beach with a reasonable price for an in-season rate and we found it. The weather, however, didn't cooperate with our stay. The first rain of the entire summer on Cape Cod and it rained for our entire stay so we had no beach time. The Cutty Sark was great. Pat, the owner, was very helpful. We stayed in Room 108. Room was updated, comfortable and VERY CLEAN. Small table and 2 chairs, comfortable queen bed, small fridge and microwave. The path to the beach was right across the street. We could even see the water from our room, even though the room didn't advertise a water view.
Towels, soap & shampoo were provided. You need to bring your own beach towels. Pool was good-size.The only thing the room could have used was a few hooks to hang beach towels. Hook on back of bathroom door was missing and maybe an over-the-door type of hook for the closet door would have been nice. It didn't matter to us because it rained, but I could see where a lack of hooks on a beach day would have been a problem. All in all, the Cutty Sark Motor Lodge is a hidden gem and we'll certainly stay there again.

My wife & I came to the Cutty Sark for the first time this August. We were very pleased with not only the cleanliness of the room, but the proximity to the beach as well. The staff was great and the owner, Pat, was very helpful. It was about a 30-40 second walk to the beach. Our downstairs room had a view of the ocean but was not advertised as such, so this was a pleasant surprise on arrival. The room was great; the pool was very comfortable and well maintained. The pool water was a comfortable 80/82 degrees, although I don’t think they heat it. The property is located in a wonderfully quiet setting and it was a quick ride to many of the attractions. We will be back.

My family (me, my husband, and one year old son) stayed at the Cutty Sark July 12-14. This was our first time staying at this hotel and we would definitely strongly consider staying here again next year. The pool was nice- well maintained and the water was great. We were right across the street from Raycroft Beach (two minute walk from hotel). It was very convenient since we had a little one with us- easy to walk back to the room for a forgotten item and it was nice not to have to pay extra money to park. The staff was friendly and the rooms were pretty clean. We paid about $130 a night which we found to be a deal at the Cape during high season. For the price and convenience to the beach alone we would definitely recommend the Cutty Sark. We will most likely return next year.

We stayed at the Cutty Sark over Memorial Day weekend and would recommend it!
It was a great place and great value!
The Location is wonderful - within walking distance to the beach - It's much closer than you think - 2 minute walk.
The room was large enough for a family of 4 (2 queen beds).
We had an upstairs corner. There was a fridge and micro in the room - with a table and 2 chairs. You can sit on the balcony with chairs provided and see the beach.
The place was very quiet and relaxing.
There was a pool but it wasn't open this weekend.
The grounds and motel area was clean - Nothing out of place.
The owner, Pat was extremely helpful with our many questions of the area.
It's very convenient to many restaurants and shopping on Main Street.

We would stay here again and would recommend it to our friends/family.

If you are looking for clean and simple - stay the Cutty Sark, you will not be disappointed.
