“Oh, those oysters!”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

We absolutely love the fall when things quiet down and restaurant deals reappear. The Oyster Company publishes coupons for a half dozen oysters on the half shell and we had accumulated two of them. We enjoyed the perfectly chilled oysters served on a bed of shaved ice with cocktail sauce, horseradish and a lemon wedge. And that was only the beginning. The $28 prix fixe menu had extraordinary choices: appetizers such as tuna tostada which I wish I had photographed - beautiful presentation! A paella just loaded with mussels, savory sausage and chicken in a flavorful broth and a wasabi duck served with a scallion risotto and bok choy. The duck melted in my mouth! Desserts included a chocolate and dark cherry bread pudding and a pecan pie in addition to tempting other choices.

“Cape Cod Expensive for a decent restaurant.”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Bottle of wine, 3 appetizers, one entree, one dessert and two after dinner drinks and it cost $130. This is the second restaurant in Cape Cod that we have visited with decent food and exorbitant prices. The food was good but was over-priced and oddly labeled. They served a cioppino that wasn't a cioppino and then a bouillabaisse that wasn't a bouillabaisse. The bouillabaisse was a nice lobster in saffron flavored broth with too many potatoes and carrots, some snap peas and cherry tomatoes. I finished it with some butter to make up for one of several short-comings. It wasn't a bad dish, once I got rid of the potatoes and carrots (my opinion). Wife's calamari was good. The seafood was fresh and good. What they did with it was odd. The oysters were very good. This was a good meal, oddly labeled and too expensive. Service was good. Calamari was good. The tomatoes were un-ripened and lacking in flavor.

“A+++ all the way”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

An amazing meal on our last night on the Cape this summer. Our waitress was a treat and made the experience that much better. Definitely get a reservation early or the day before or you will be waiting for a while. It is worth the extra effort !! Fantastic menu, fresh seafood abounds.

“Disappointing dinner”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

An evening to forget, perhaps because on Monday 'is not ideal day for a fish dinner, maybe because we went to dinner a little later. The dishes we ate were a little disappointing. In particular, clams, scallops and shrimp though beautiful to the eye tasted very much like. The combination with linguine not right for me, much better than the garlic bread grilled in U.S. unlike Italy does not seem very used with fish or seafood.
Even the dishes of my traveling companions had flat flavors.
At a cost of 140 USD for 4 main courses and 4 beers we expected something better.

“Superb food! Reasonable prices!”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Very pleasant decor. Not too noisy, even when completely full. Fine wine list. Service was pleasant and more than sufficient. Serving portions are huge! Be advised, & be prepared to take home doggy bags. Would recommend you call for reservations. We stayed nearby & the parking lot always seemed very busy.
